My Husband said that on the farms in Michigan, anything over six inches would be firewood and anything over eighteen inches would go to the saw mill. He said they would dig out the stumps and split them for firewood also. The smaller stuff would go to the chipper for mulch. Everything used. Enjoyed the video.
Love the videos 😊you know that one of these days you'll have to get a truck and trailer like up state brush control so you can haul around the mini and the skidsteer and all your attachments and tools so what ever surprises you come across you are ready Johnny on the spot ❤❤
Why do I enjoy these videos so much? Maybe, it's "order out of chaos" or the "take no prisoners," mowing style... Mega munchie (mowing down forests), big munchie, little munchie and the brush hog; always, the right tool for the job!!! Keep up the good work. Stay hydrated. :)
The farmer's love of gum trees is the same love we have for chicken trees (Chinese tallow) here in SW Louisiana. Have to watch the flower beds as chicken trees will come up everywhere. Every place one of the balls drop a tree will grow if not mowed down or pulled up. We have a camp with woods all around it and chicken trees can be seen justa blowin' in the wind. Husband said at one time he wanted to remove all the chicken trees around the camp, then decided that was a job for a fire (which we wouldn't do, of course). The joke would have been on us as the first trees to come up would have been chicken trees. lol.
Nice to have people willing to help others. Someone needs to teach him how to safely drop trees with a chainsaw. Larger first wedge on the side of the direction you want the tree to fall followed by a deep cut angled down meeting with the wedge. Would not need to push the tree over.
Hi Davin, Wow I am always amazed at how Munchie & ASV can really gobble up all those trees!! Seems your tripod had too much to drink the night before, because it kept going over. Lol I'm not sure if planting trees is more fun than eating them up??
Looks like you're doing as well as can be expected with your recent loss.Just want you to know I'm still praying for you! Keep busy and keep your fiance memories close to your heart. Time will continue to heal!
So I do a lot of the same work but quick question. What is the benefit of the mulcher head vs a chipper you can easily feed with the mini? That honestly looks like a ton more time, effort and money. I understand different circumstances one works better but I don’t see the point tbh
He's a land clearing mulching guy not a tree guy and I don't think a 150000 to 250000 dollar chipper is in his business plan, and I think that mulcher is close or not as fast without adding another liability. As he said he would have took those trees with the mulcher if they were not close to the fence, he's not the cut it and chip it guy.
You are a master of the machines!! This may seem like an odd request, I wondered what your name is.After a person watches a few videos you feel like you know him. Good work.
here's a great question for you do you think about getting a chipper shredder also for some projects that are small and we can see that to. Or are the munchie brothers satisfied with running the way they are. Just a food for thought
How do you bid out jobs? Dobyou have a mobilization fee up front and then a rate per hour etc? Doing some stuff up in North Dakota and am struggling to find the fair price to charge.
Wow your gum trees sound as bad as our cottonwood trees here on west coast BC..you cut them down and they send a bunch of shoots out and start growing again, got to take the whole stump out too with them👍👍👍🇨🇦
Hello from Australia I think what you call Sweetgums in the US are called Liquidamber here They are much sought after for our gardens as they have beautiful Autumn foliage and are quite expensive here Cheers 🦘❤️❤️❤️
As one below said you need to make your wedge cuts better, take a little time looking on youtube to get better idea of proper method of making your cuts, the are many on here and it will make your cuts better and safer. Otherwise good job.
i really enjoy your videos , but please get alittle more training on tree falling , i don't want to see you get hurt. there's a few things you can do different to be much safer.
Didnt I see some poison ivy vines on few of these trees? I could see 3 leaves but I cant tell whether 2 leaves are left and right mittens. And middle one would have both left and right "thumbs"
It's none of my business but may I ask why don't you hire an extra man, when you have such job assignments? Your friend down the road am sure would loan an extra man for the day... No harm in asking. You know you are not getting any younger. Well thank you for letting me suggest. Am 72 and watching you worries me, I'm dealing with a bad knee and back and hips pain for years, just because I thought I could do it by myself. Today I can't play with my two great grandchildren. I wonder 🤔 why. Because I thought I could do it by myself.,. Hint hint
Yes, it does take time to find the right worker, I suggested that he asked his fellow friend down the road (in the same business) to loan him a extra man for the day). So he doesn't have to look far, just ask his fellow business friend.
Wow! I can't believe this doesn't have more views. This was incredible. Now they have all this wonderful mulch for the garden. Great video
You did such a fine job you can't even tell where you hid the body!
So satisfying to see it cleaned up and turned into mulch!
Big Munchie says, "That was an appetizer! Feed me more!"

Great job as usual, thanks for taking the time to share
Love those yells of success!! Great work.
I'm sueing - the bucket hit me right in the face at 10:50 into the video - LOL. Your videos are great - love the time lapse on repetitive scenes.
I agree, I actually jumped back on that!! So realistic, I worked around backhoe's a lot & never wanted to get that close.
Love the videos 😊you know that one of these days you'll have to get a truck and trailer like up state brush control so you can haul around the mini and the skidsteer and all your attachments and tools so what ever surprises you come across you are ready Johnny on the spot ❤❤
We don't have gum trees in this country and by all accounts I'm glad. Darn good job though. Big munchies worth every penny. X

Thank you for speeding up your videos. I'm in a hurry to see the final result but don't want to fast forward and mess up your algorithm.
Fine work,Sir.❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful job, You always do a awesome job with Big Munchie!
Absolutely awe-inspiring performance from these behemoths.
Great job as always, keep on doing your thing.great video 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Good job. I think your wedge needs to be bigger and the cut on the backside of the wedge needs to be higher up a little bit.

Wow! We sure could use a munchie around our camp.
A job well done Davin
Awesome
Well, I can tell you by experience gum tree roots in the ground will sprout trees everywhere and don't tell me otherwise
Always do a great job

😅 😅 Your Poor Camera!! Love watching You Work.
Awesome. Job. Devin
It seems like the pile of mulch should be larger for all the trees you took down. Always enjoy the time lapse

I’ve often thought that we should rename the Gum Tree to a Hydra Tree 🌳 😂😂😂😂we should start a campaign
Good video and job Brother. I would rent a stump grinder that attaches to the ASV, it would go faster than the walk behind stump grinder.
Nice Shave!
If you pull up the stump and there are some roots left will more gum trees grow back?
You are a master of the machines!! This may seem like an odd request, I wondered what your name is.After a person watches a few videos you feel like you know him. Good work.
My name is Davin
Some of us call him SUPERMAN!

360 p aree you shooting with a flip phone?
This is 1080p. I think you’re watching on a flip phone
Dude you might want to dig out the stump on 3 sides leaving the direction of fall undug an just push it over. Juiet dig deeper Good luck
ALL THAT GOOD FIREWOOD GOING TO WASTE!
Gumm Tree; The name of the tree sounds like it would make munchies teeth stickey 😁
Do you have a lot of ticks down there?
chainsaw action today baby .
you are still on my prayer list for heart ache and the loss of the love of your life. 👍🙏🌻
Don(a
Oooppsss watch the camera
Feed me! Feed Me! FEEEED ME! Feed me Seymour. Lmao.
I couldn't resist.
You have a "Transformer" does just about everything.
Gum trees seem to be a little sticky to take down.
Go Navy!

What is a gum tree?
A sweetgum tree is a common tree here in South Carolina
gums they are deep rooted
Not your best looked real good and safe
Why didn't you dig around with tree still attached then push over
i really enjoy your videos , but please get alittle more training on tree falling , i don't want to see you get hurt. there's a few things you can do different to be much safer.
👍👍👍👏👏😍
The camera is laying down and n the job. LOL
Now you know why they call them Gummy Trees
Didnt I see some poison ivy vines on few of these trees? I could see 3 leaves but I cant tell whether 2 leaves are left and right mittens. And middle one would have both left and right "thumbs"
10:50. I feel like I've been kicked in the teeth.
Apakah ini di negara Australia bang
North Carolina USA adek
Apakah Amerika
The first cut you make you're not taking a big enough section out.
Where,s your safety gear?? Trousers, helmet earprotection??
Spray the stump after cutting or grinding and it won’t sprout back.
ARE GUM TREES CONSIDERED A WASTE TREE, SOUNDS LIKE IT?
Like watching this, but can’t stand the music, have to mute
lol Such a Nerd.
If you ask me you could have carried them logs to a sawmill instead of mulching them up. 😏
Can you p;ease take any ''sawmill-type'' woos to Mark Galicic, or call him to pick it up.
It's none of my business but may I ask why don't you hire an extra man, when you have such job assignments?
Your friend down the road am sure would loan an extra man for the day...

Fair point, it takes time to find the right person.

That little machine has no power
