One thing I do: in addition to counting number of reps, I time how long my routine takes. Each time the goal then becomes to decrease the time taken to complete the routine. This challenges me to get the ball in and out of my stick quickly which translates well to game situations. It also automatically builds in the incentive to drop the ball less.
