Pretty neat gameplay by yours. As an ambitious tennis player in real life I have quite a few tactical things I wanna add here for you: 1. You play 99% balls down the line, even if the position of the opponent is quite neutral and you open the whole court for him to attack cross. Clay really is much about spin and angles. Try to play more cross and aggressive short cross with lots of spin and angle against the direction of your opponents moving. You will have a much better game then. 2. You picked the Federer forehand so I guess you like the Federer style of play. If you have the time and a slow and short ball is coming to your backhand, you really want to try to avoid your backhand and play the forehand inside out if the position allows this. If your opponent plays the ball too close to the baseline and you hit the forehand late, the whole court is open for an attack of the opponent, so be aware of this. 3. You may try different type of serves, flat for first, but especially on clay some kick and slice serves on the second. 4. Your return games sometimes were quite poor because your positioning was somehow poor. He served with lots of slice in deuce, but u stand so far left so you have to run to get the pretty slow serve. Rewatch the critical games and find better spots for the return, especially if the opponent trys to serve and volley. Try to cross the return too. 5. You often are in nomansland in the middle of the court. Try to make some pressure from the baseline and then go to the net. This approaching meter by meter to the net in multiple strokes wont be any good if your opponent plays better in the later stages of the game. 6. Some slices here and there especially under pressure would be helpful too. Keep cool and best regards PS: you did a lot of this in the third set when things started to go really well :)

Just decided to search to see if there was a video game a couple days ago and found your channel, absolutely loving the career mode, subscribed immediately, and I bought the game! Thanks for getting me back into the sport, keep up the great videos. Can't wait to check out your football manager content as well.
Lol get your stamina up once I got my stamina to around 50-55 I was good. And stop spamming power shots and use control shots once in a while. It’s all about stamina management my friend
This is a reskin of top spin 4 which im happy with. As it wasnt backwards compatible and i long since sold my 360 so its nice to have a solid tennis game again!
Played a bit today and enjoying it although the timing meter takes a bit of getting used to but after a while it starts to get better. Poor roster of players though. Graphically it looks very good on a top end tv anyway.
One visual thing, i don't like how "clean" playing on clay looks in this Topspin, in 4 everything you wear would have an orange tint to it from the clay as the match went on, either through the dust being kicked up (shoes, socks and pants/shorts and even your players face) or wiping the sweat from your face causing the dust to get all over your shirt and wristbands .
Not blowing smoke but you are really good,I know its not your thing but if you could drop some tips on timing. I play on normal and I am finding it difficult, thanks
Its a real shame that no one has tried to make an actual realistic tennis game. Im on console so cant speak for PC. This is OK. But its got little to do with how actual tennis plays. Serve volley on clay? That would not work. The height and speed of the ball on clay not true. All rallies take place on or inside the baseline, more nonsense. Its just pong with a decent graphic overlay. Im sure its fun and also enjoyable if you dont watch much tennis. But as an actual tennis sim its pretty poor. Great video and enjoyable match as always. Was just hoping for a bit more from a studio such as 2K.
@@bojack99 I have played tennis all my life. I also enjoy video games. Programmers have made pretty good driving games, ice hockey, basketball, football etc. Don't see why they can't get the basics right on tennis game. So your comment doesn't really stack up.
@scoop7672 you're telling me a game will be close to real life 😅🤣 I mean people say there isn't enough faults in tennis game's .. I know why I hit a ball out in real, I don't in a game because what feeling do I have?? What would different bounces do in a game ? The character will make the shot
@@bojack99 You are kind of missing the whole point to the sports game industry. The idea being to try and create an accurate representation of the sport. If you listen or watch programmers discuss development models they are trying to authenticate. They can create how a car handles to the point pro drivers use the games as simulators but they can't create ball bounce on different surfaces, which is essentially a huge part of tennis. Again your argument is really weak. I'm off for club match now. Take care.
Played the game tonight... quite dissapoiting. Got bored after 2 games. Repetitive and not real physics. Still not a good tenis game. Was expecting way more from a £60+ game

I love how realistic the clay play is, if you aren't careful your going to get stuck in an uncontrolled slide.
I love how they kept the original concept of TS2K4. Looks like 2K is undefeated in creating the best tennis game.

When you are serving and you get a fault, don’t try to play a serve to the side because you may double fault and lose silly points.

I’ve waited for years for PS to put topspin4 as a digital download or as a stream title on ps4. When I saw this announced, I bought a PS5. 😂

I like the 6 games 3 to 5 sets. Makes the game more realistic

Tennis Elbow and Full Ace Tennis have good AI and physics. But only sole indie devs so lack in other areas.
If you want real tennis just play it for real.. there will never be a real tennis simulation
