Comatose for me is the living word of God talking to my life...That song is so personal...It describes all I feel. I pray to God to wake up to him again.

I saw them August 14th in concert. By far an epic performance. Can’t wait to jam out again! If any member of @skillet reads this post. Please know your music saved my life. I thank God for you guys from the bottom of my heart.
I really love skillet jhon cooper voice is so amazing never chance alot like other vocalist example slipknot or marylin manson his voice got so much energy i love them
This band is just of the hook. Jen and John woah what a team. God bless them always. John don't let the negativity of some few hit him, he sends them to God. He gives a shout out to the Almighty God everytime he has the chance in all their concerts . Bless this group all the way. Many thanks keep them coming
Last time I was in a rock consert I was the only one that filmed Everything with a real camera, not a cellphone a real shoulder camera. Damn so good stability and Im 6foot9 so that helps too. Im hard to miss.
I asked this on another concert video of theirs. I honestly don't believe he actually plays the bass parts at all- his playing is too inconsistent and it doesn't fit with the sound. My opinion is the bass is either pre-recorded or theres someone back stage playing the bass parts.
Borderline, Books and Bipolar I understand and agree with this point of view, BUT :) do you hear the difference when he plays and when he doesn’t play? I think that I hear it. When he plays it sounds so cool 😎
I saw them last night for the 5th time. Man, they just get better and better each time. There is no band I know of that puts on such a more energetic show than Skillet. Every album they release just rocks. Not every band is like that. I love Skillet, the group is so humble and stay true to the lord despite having becoming more mainstream and facing pressure to move away from being so open about it.
Everyone asking about what happens when John isn’t playing bass. His bass tech plays his parts backstage. This gives him the ability to be more of a frontman for those songs.
yupsure I know they use a lot of backing tracks, all big bands do. It’s how you get that album sound live. But I’ve heard John say in an interview that his manager and his bass tech will play bass when he’s not so that he can run around on stage and be more of a front man.
@@bassplayajw Breaking Benjamin don't use back tracks and they sound amazing. I saw them in april at the bryce jordan center and I was front row and he sounded not a bit different from the album.
@@bassplayajw they used to have their production manager (Scotty rock) play bass for John. He would actually play on stage with them and interact with the crowd. But nowadays I’m pretty sure any time John doesn’t have a bass in his hands it’s just a track. A lot of times you can see Scotty on the side of the stage just chilling behind the sound board.
I will say this I was a little mad at the sound crew. It took about three or four songs for them to really start sounding really good. However I did notice that Jennifer's mic was turned down. I also noticed that Seth wasn't warmed up enough on that solo but he got better as the concert went on.
Rob Pezzella I could tell Seth was not warmed up. I though he might be ill or tired because when I’m ill I can’t play guitar because my fingers hurt a lot. You can’t really tell that he wasn’t warmed up or kinda sloppy unless you have listened to the guitar parts very carefully or if your a guitarist. I could tell in whispers that when he was going out of the first part of the guitar solo into the double stop bends that he was a bit slow or was I bit sloppy as I’m working on nailing that guitar solo and I’m almost there I just need to get the transition from that part down. He got better after a couple of songs but If whispers was at the end or was in the middle of the set list he might of been fine although that song is there probably to get Seth warmed up to play songs like not gunna die and the resistance and many more that have wick aws guitar solos.
Actually, there was a tornado that passed by and the equipment got banged up. Even one of the screens had to be repaired. It sounded much better in person, I assure you. I was there for that day of Creation, and the storm was intense, though short.
Anybody else notice that John's bass was in the wrong tuning for Feel Invincible? It was obvious at the beginning of the song, and you can see him kinda realize it in the bridge section, and he's just transposing in his head the rest of the song!
Cory should have never gave up all the female vocals to Jen. Love Jen but Cory has a great voice. Also nice to see John with his bass the whole show. They don't sound as full without it.
She really hasn't done any since Jen joined the band. I remember Cory saying one time she didn't like her voice and being she does a lot of the editing and mixing (imho) made it worse because she was the one listening to it over and over.

I've watched 3 of their live concerts. The sound man is doing a lousy job along with the camera man. One concert was done good except Jen's vocals were not loud enough. Otherwise everything else was great. I love these guys one of my favorite bands.
