Great job, really pretty. A couple of hints, though: #1-Make sure to tell subscribers to start with a totally clean piece of glass. #2-Also, if you WIPE the entire piece of glass with alcohol or blending solution before applying any ink, the ink will flow better. (If you don't have a blending tool, you can use a small piece of felt to apply the blending solution.)

Marcia Bentley #3 it’s expensive a starter pack with like 9 color and the blending solution is like $35 on Amazon.. Just for one project it’s not cheap. Now if you plan to make more maybe. I’m debating whether to get it.. it did could out beautiful though.
Dayana Alvarado you can make your own alcohol inks with colored sharpies and isopropyl alcohol! very inexpensive and works perfectly, look up some videos on it 👍🏼

Definitely the gold! I really like how it turned out. 😊 I've never tried this (never knew about it) but I plan to now. I'm so glad you posted this, you just solved a problem I have with a framed art piece I picked up from the Goodwill that I can't do anything with. My intention was to get a mirror cut to fit in the frame but all I can get is a custom cut mirror which costs way too much! (I thought Lowe's did this but I found out too late that they don't). So I'll try this out for sure. Thanks for the idea!
Oh wow! Lowe’s stop cutting mirror?! You know sometimes they say that because that person didn’t know that. I’ve had that happen to me and I had to inform the employee or it may just be based on location. I’m sorry to hear that. You could also use mirror effect spray paint but it’s not going to look as clear as the real thing. I’m sure it will turn out looking great whatever you decide. 😊
treshaja Thanks for the advice about Lowe's. I went into the store (instead of calling this time) and based on a sign I saw they do still cut glass/mirror...hmmm...lol. But I didn't need the service because I just found a nice mirror that I updated and have a video for...just posted. I would be honored if you would check it out. 😊 I'm still gonna try the technique you show here on my glass frame though.

I love alcohol art! I did these in SC with my teen group years ago!! This came out beautiful. We used plexiglass.
