I love the simplicity of this video and your ideas. Brilliant idea for the swatch cards. That makes so much sense. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed watching 👍🏾
I love the way you explain. Simple, unsofisticated….you remember how it is to be a beginner. Congratulations for the quality and dinamic of the video and the tip with the color cards for saving paper is so cool. I cant wait for your next video. Gabriela, Romania
Hey Gabriela!! Sorry for the long wait, I still need to improve at answering all the comments (among other things, hehe) I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your kind and motivating words. I really appreciate that you enjoyed this video and I hope you'll like my latest vlog as well!
Hey Sam, thank you!!! It makes me really happy that you found this a good idea!! I wanted to start already a long time ago but I had to learn a lot of things about video making. Still in process but really happy that I finally published the first one. Even happier to hear that you liked it. Thanks a lot for your super motivating words!!!!!
Lauri! what a great content and video! You did very well in shooting from different angles, editing and voice over in the video!!! Awesome job Lauri! Love, Gabby :)
It depends. For smooth lines and small details that need to look right I prefer thin nibs but to fill in larger areas the brush tip makes it easier. Thanks for watching!✨
Hi! Sorry for the late answer!! You can definitely experiment with acrylic gouache in combination with paint markers. Sometimes when I don't have a specific color I use acrylic gouache and it works. Thanks for watching it! New video coming up next week!
I actually tried this a few days ago, and in my experience (using Holbein acryla gouache as the background) the Posca pens just got watery on top of the acryla gouache. It was so strange. They went on like a glaze of watercolor. I plan to test this some more in case that was a fluke.
Hi Allen! It depends of the thickness of the watercolor paper and the texture. But it is def my favorite paper for paint markers. I also posted a video explaining everything about the paper I use ☺️⭐️ Thanks for watching!!
Great video, LOVE the vibe🌷It definitely made me want to re-shake my poscas NOW and paint some. Great tip with layers and take them from the bottom up, and to work slow/patiently. I feel like my main mistake is to be allovertheplace all the time and it makes things looking not as neat as yours, now I know why🥳😅Have a great day
Hi Maria-Therese!!!! So nice to hear!!!! Go shake then and ask me any questions!! You can always reach out here or on IG. I will be sharing more videos like this so we can all make nice paintings :-)))) Have a great day as well!!! Thanks!!!
The swatch cards are so helpful! I find it challenging to see what colors go together before starting at times
Yes! They help me a lot as well :-) So glad that it helped you!!! And thanks for watching it!

Thank you!!!!!!! Thanks for watching it, THAT is really awesome!
Very nice ♥️
Thank you!!!!☺️
Do you like the nibs better than the brush tips?
It depends. For smooth lines and small details that need to look right I prefer thin nibs but to fill in larger areas the brush tip makes it easier. Thanks for watching!✨
I would be so tempted to just do a wash of gouache for the background layer! 😅 Would it work to layer the pens on top like this?

Is waterpaper good enough for posca pens and also dont the paint go through the paper and leaks to the back of paper?? I need help

How thin is the marker? Posca pen? 3mm?
Pretty expensive stuff for just drawing on a Sketchbook. But looks great 👊
Thank you!!!
