Alan Fletcher teases 'Neighbours' return, new music and working with Margot Robbie!

Riverside Radio presenter Jeremy Winter caught up with Alan Fletcher, who plays Dr Karl Kennedy on the hit TV Show ‘Neighbours’ where they discussed his highly anticipated return, single release, and experiences working with some of the biggest names in showbiz.
“It’s just going to be wonderful on the 18th September to sit back and think everyones back on the couch and watching Neighbours again” said Alan
Alan provided a glimpse into the show's ‘New Chapter’, revealing, “We know it’s a two year time gap between Neighbours ending and starting again”, “so a lot of the new season will be about the previous two years”. He went on to tease fans with the promise of a “Wedding at the beginning” with a “big twist which has ramifications for months”.
To celebrate the show's return, Alan has also released ‘(I’ve Got a) Crush on Susie K’, on September 8th as a fan tribute to one of Ramsay Street’s most beloved characters - Susan Kennedy. “I sang the song every night on the Neighbours Celebration tour and fans loved it!” says Alan. “I was overwhelmed with the number of requests to record and release the song.”
When asked about Margot Robbie, the Aussie sensation and star of the 2023 'Barbie' film, Alan didn't hold back, exclaiming, "I’m so full of admiration for her", "She’s an enormous, spectacular talent. From the moment she walked onto the show Jackie and I said this girl is going to go through the stratosphere."
