How To Tie Dye: The Spider w/Pastel Colors - Liquid Tie Dye Long Sleeve T-shirt

In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to make “The Spider” tie dye pattern. I used a pastel color scheme for this one. The long sleeve shirt was bone dry. I recommend misting it with soda ash solution to help the liquid dye penetrate the surface of the fabric before adding dye. This fold is great for beginners or seasoned professionals because it’s really easy to do.

Thanks, Jana! I had to have a man do it for me. My hands aren’t strong enough. It’s easy. Bend the two outer tines backwards and up out of the way with pliers. ❤️🌈

Coming from you I feel honored. Watching you, Fun Endeavors, Casual Collisions and of course, Mr. Tie Dye, I looked up Dharma online and ordered a BUNCH of dyes and studied everything you guys were doing and went for it. I absolutely LOVE this outlet of creativity. It’s so satisfying. I felt compelled to make tutorials too. I want to help the new person coming along interested in tie dye but not knowing where to begin, like how I felt. There wasn’t a lot of info and the library’s were closed.
