I used to wonder how Botan and Subaru would become friends, but then I realized that their personalities complement each other quite a lot. I'm glad they are friends because without her we wouldn't have ShubaChocoLunaTan, which is probably one of the most chaotic and fun to watch subgroups that ended up forming on Hololive.
On one hand, I'd be like Lamy internally. It's not everyday that someone just hands folks personalized utensils. I'd be tickled pink and honored that they bothered to do so. On the other hand, I'd be like Nene externally. You gave me chopsticks, I'm going to use them to eat. I'll thank you for both the meal and the chopsticks after I'm done.
Speaking on the part of being a craftsman who has made gifts for a few people in the short time i have been crafting, nothing makes me happier than knowing what I have made is so appreciated by the person receiving said gift. The bigger the smile from them, the bigger the smile on me ^_^. I wouldn't care if I got nothing in return. "The smile is gift enough for me."

Technically from what it looks like the 3D is just reskinning the same chop sticks with 4 different texture maps. Though texture work can take some time to do as well depending on how detailed they went with 😅

Although you could argue that it was because of Aloe's graduation that the remaining Gen 5 came together so closely. If she didn't, I'd wager Gen 5 would be similar to HoloX; close, but do a lot of things with outside groups.

So they modeled the chopsticks in vr to match the real chopsticks? That takes a lot of effort.
It's just using a different texture. Although it doesn't amount to a lot of work, it's still 3 separate assets customized to use those patterns.

actually, last year too... the bowls were also render in 3d so we all saw the designs clearly
