Shocked storm let him go , but he hasn't been his best for the past year or so and probably needed a new start. Good buy for the tiger's , he seems to fit in we'll with them. Goodluck to u tiger's supporters!!!.
Yes, rugby is a team effort game thats why the different positions..there are guys who gain the hard yards and guys who create plays and guys who happen to place themselves in right spots to finish the game with a try..,and Olam is a perfect finisher, who can also be able to set up his wing to finish the game with a try, as well as can defend well..Finishers are try scorers...Olam is a good finisher, creator of play and solid defender...I agree that the media does put him in the spotlight, which puts him somewhat under pressure,, the media should give him some space and go easy on the guys who perform....Olam is a star no doubt thats why the media attention...he has proved given his decline in performance with the Storms due to injury, he has recovered and is fitting well with his team, Tigers and enjoying his teams combined efforts...Go JO
Too much undue hype around one man. The NRL is a team game. Any individual can only be as good when others around him click. Olam's team mates can easily shut him down in play if they figured he was getting too much attention & hype for not so much. We have seen that happen & that's usually no good for team. Cut Olam some slack and don't put him in a situation where he will be under undue pressure to perform. Bellamy had to let Olam go even though Olam was a star player. Too much undue hype over one player in the team over one or two good hits wasn't good for team moral. Olam was pushed out. As a coach. I'd do the same. If one player got too overrated, I'd let him go for good of the team. Team health is much more important to a coach than one individual player.
I agree as well. This is what I believe was one factor that led to his drop in form.Too much hype comes too much expectations for him to push himself to maintain.Give JO some slack and let him play in a team with a healthy mindset
Celebration Police, let fans enjoy the game the way they want to. You can't stop people supporting Messi or LeBron James, so why stop people supporting Justin. Grow up and get a life.
