Very true. I see this happen to Firefighters a lot, they usually die around 5yrs after they retire. Not sure if it has to do with all the chemicals they are exposed to but now they are also saying their turnout gear is also full of carcinogenic chemicals. My husband will retire in a couple of years and this scares me. It’s so important to live fully everyday and be very present in our children’s lives because each moment is the only thing that is real and that truly matters.
My dad unfortunately didn't make it to retirement... passed away in 2019 at 62. Not trying to get pity or anything, just saying some people don't even get to make it to retirement despite saving and dreaming about it.

I lost my dad just over a year ago and he died so suddenly he was only 50 years old and I still am just in an unthinkable unbelievable headspace that this could happen to us, my heartbreaks for those kids you can just heartbroken they are and it's literally weeks after he had passed but I bet having that experience happen and being able to know that he was okay and that he loved them is amazing and I wish that I could have had something like that my heart goes out to that family

My sister's best friend passed away a few years ago, she was like and older sister to me. Her death hit me hard. I was in shock for a while. I remember dreaming about her once, in this dream I couldn't see her face, but I could see her tattoos. I don't remember anything that she might have said, but she did hug me. I could literally feel the warmth from her touch when I woke up with tears streaming down my face. I knew in that very moment after I opened my eyes that she had visited me. There was another time when I was drinking at a friend's house, and Whitney Houston's song I wanna dance with somebody was playing, I was alone in the kitchen just singing and dancing a little bit. The bridge of the song when Whitney sang "I wanna dance with somebody who loves me" hit my ear, I literally had goosebumps come over my entire body and I bursted into tears, my immediate thought was of her. I knew she was there with me that night, more than likely enjoying herself with us in spirit form. I'm a firm believer that she does visit me from time to time and I miss her so much. Cherish those who are still with you because you never know when it will be their time. I will say she struggled with a lot of things, and I believe God wanted to end her suffering, so he took her Home. I've been a little confused all my life, because I'm afraid I'm just like Theresa. I also feel energies since I was 3rd 4th year. I find it very scary because I really perceive things and I have been woken up all my life at night by energy feelings that I have no control over.

Ok so now I'm starting to wonder if what I went thru is real now.. my friend was murdered in front of me.. he was shot in the head... after he died I had a dream about him and he came up to me and told me that he was OK and I said "I thought you were dead" and we hugged! I woke up and I swear on everything I love in my life that I could see feel the hug as if I just hugged someone in real life.. my other friend who was also there that day and witnessed his murder ended up telling me that she had a dream too and it was of him telling her the same thing and she literally said the same too "I thought you were dead". We had never told each other about the dreams until that day and it just came up. It was crazy. Unreal. And also a few weeks if even that after he was killed I was driving to town with my kids in the back seat and felt someone poke my shoulder. I turned around about to get onto one of my kids and tell them they needed to sit down and sit back in the seat and when I turned around they were all past out, sound asleep... I know someone poked me and first thing that came to mind was him.. hearing people talk about their dreams like I've had and the poking now in two different episodes on here makes me truly believe it was Ryan coming to me in my dreams to let me know he was OK now... I'll forever have to live with what I witnessed that day and the flash backs and visions of that day and how absolutely HORRIBLE it was but I've found peace in knowing he's ok now if those were real.. he didn't deserve that... I miss him. Love you Ryan... RIP and I'm glad you're OK now.. I'm sorry I couldn't save you that day.. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
