I have knit quite a few baby socks with my leftovers. The Baby Train Socks pattern for newborns, baby showers always well received by the parents. And the toe up baby socks (video from Arne and Carlos) it doesn't take much yarn for a baby sock, maybe an ounce or so per pair.
Enjoyed all of the viewers and your suggestions. 😊 I love working on scrappy projects, as I experience a little spark of happiness every time I get to work with a new color. ❤🎉 I am currently working on the Stained Glass Scrappy Blanket which is a mitered square blanket which has a thin black border around each square, which enhances the look (in my opinion) of a standard mitered square blanket. This is a free pattern from Ladybug Laboratory and she offers 7 or 8 tutorial videos on this blanket. At the same time, I am working on the Battenberg Blanket (also free) and I use the remainder of the scrap from the mitered square to make one or more crocheted squares for the Battenberg. 🧶
Hi Tonya😊 I’m so happy to have found you ! your podcasts are very helpful And I so enjoy the content I’m a few years knitting and learning lots from you and looking forward to knitting up some of the summer tees patterns you’ve listed previously. You seem like a genuinely lovely person I’ll keep watching👍👋 Kelli (58 yrs late into knitting) in Alberta Canada
If my left over bits of sock yarn are the same weight I just knit up the little balls into new socks which I call my crazy socks. They are always gorgeous and very odd.
Here's a really trendy option: knitted frogs! Or other small creatures but the frogs have taken over Instagram! My next pair of socks will be 1x1 color work like the seaglass sweater!

That fair isle swatch would make a super cute bag. Just line it with some material and add a zipper.

So fun and great ideas! Thanks for the mention!
Good ideas! Its amazing how fast scraps accumulate. I really like the idea of a memory Christmas stocking .
I knit lots of wash cloths and have a lot of small balls of left overs that I am going to combine into a magic knot ball to make scrappy wash cloths
Great way to use scraps!
I like the idea of pompous or maybe tassels. Make them up at the end of a project and create a stash.
Your fair isle project would make a cute small bag
I hadn't thought out that!

Welcome to a fellow Canadian! 👋
Love your ideas
Thank you! 😊
A gradient marled shawl pattern... I cant remember the name of it but i used my blues, greens and purple to make a lovely sea-colored shawl.
Love the Stitch in Time and Battenberg blanket patterns! I have saved them to my favorite - now to find the time to make them. LOL
Glad you like them!
