Here's some coverage from the 8th Annual Spring Thaw Model Show. The show was held at the Willowvale Fire Company in Chadwicks, New York on April 3, 2022.
I started this video with the Junior Class. They are the future of this hobby, so I felt they should be first. After that I follow the classes in numerical order. The video is rather long, so sit back, open your favorite beverage and enjoy the pics from the show. There was 179 models entered and all of them were great. There really are some amazing builds at this show.
I want say a big THANK YOU to everyone involved with this show. All the time and effort everyone puts into this show is great appreciated and not forgotten. A great time was had by many and it was very nice seeing some old friends and making some new ones as well.

Which is why I enjoy going to shows so much. I've met some great people at all of the shows I've been to and have learned so much over the years from them. I did bring some hardware home, so it was a good day in that respect as well.

I've been looking for a back hoe or loader to put on the back of my lowboy. I build the bulldozer before and my pitbull broke it and I really don't feel like doing it again. So if u got any in full on any please let me know my brother.stay safe
Hi John, yes that is my loader. That was made by Preiser some time ago. It's made out of plastic. I took it apart, did a lot of sanding and filling and even more sanding before it was painted. They don't turn up often for sale and usually aren't cheap. But with some work and paint they do turn out nice. I just got a back hoe last week so I don't have an for sale. Tricks w the nomad.paint roof lines by hand,then sand back any brush marks leaving paint in cracks of body lines.
And i work at a race track
That's cool. Some friends of mine race dirt modifieds. I used to help quite a bit with their cars, but the past couple of seasons have only gone occasionally to the races. I still enjoy going to the race and working on the cars, I just don't have the time to put a 100% effort into it.
