    The sacrifices Ryan goes through to get us some good content. Eating, drinking, dancing and riding a Panigale round Misano in Italy. It's a shtty job but someone has to do it. Thanks Ryan.

    Does anyone else remember when Fortnine was having trouble getting motorcycles to review because they talked about bikes objectively and certain people didn't like that?
    I'm not saying that anything changed, but it is nice to see them getting real recognition. It also probably helps that they're doing more motorcycle education content rather than motorcycle reviews, lol

    • @rezkyputra5239
      @rezkyputra5239 วันที่ผ่านมา +28

      Yup, they rarely do reviews anymore, and the reviews they're doing are for older, vintage bikes which no one would complain about. Last one they did was the R1300 GS and they do it because the have burned the bridge from the 1250 review anyway
      I guess most of the review contents are handled by RevZilla, while educations are handled by F9, since they're the same company, as not to eat each other's jar of cookies

    • @spartanx169x
      @spartanx169x วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      Reviews are all but pointless because 99% of reviewers inject their own opinion into the review. What feels good to Yammie Noob is going to be very different to what Ryan likes, which will be different to what Spite(Spites Corner) likes and so forth. You want a review? Simply go demo a bike.

    • @billumandal

    I know as a rookie rider, riding across rain groves would scare the crap out of me. The bike seemed to want to drive itself. I would stiffen up and fight the wiggle, which made it worse or at least more pronounced. Later I realized if I just relaxed and allow it to float across it, it was no big deal.

      This princeple is more universal than some might think. Sports pilots and glider pilots know the term PIO - Pilot Induced Oscilations. If you stiffen your steering, you may be increasing the momentary disturbances caused by the elements that would otherwise be mitigated by the vehicle's self-stabilizing properties.

    the system critical force comes from the castor... where the wheel touches the road in relation to the pivot point. I built sled dog rigs, with 3 wheels, and having the forks at the same angle as the bike they came off meant they would steer wherever they wanted. having it at a 40 to 45degree angle (dependant on the donor pushbike) made it so the rig would just go straight unless the dogs pulled it around a corner (very few can have the dogs on a lead and have them pull the rig around behind them without the front wheel flopping around. and it was very noticeable to the point where people always comment on how mine self steer. the same applies to bikes, but the angles are different and require it to fight itself and stand the bike up again... this is why raising or lowering the back of the bike or lifting and dropping the forks in the tree make such a huge difference to steering! 1 degree is a massive change that can be felt by EVERYONE no matter how much experience they have!

    A Ryan presentation on location... in eclectic mix of excellent vibes here, Anthony Bourdain on physics, sprinkled in with a bit of Jeremy Clarkson / Richard Hammond levity, albeit more dry and sophisticated. Nice! Keep up the good camera work too. 🤛

    So you were in Italy. Less than 200km from where I live and had no idea! 😭😭😭 Could have offer some steak as we do in Tuscany! Maybe next time, maybe at Mugello? 😊

    One thing I love about Fortnine and Ryan is how humble they've stayed over all these years of making content & increased exposure and fame.
    They're still in that wet tiny little room converted to studio in BC.

    Thank you for all of you sacrifices, team F9. Meatball description of geometry helped me to decide what to cook for dinner!

    I don't do motorbikes, I'd simply kill myself, but I do watch all of Ryan's videos, even the ones on the gear I'll never use. I still feel better informed after them somehow and they are some of the best produced content on YT

    our little youtube physicist all growed up and racing homologated bikes around world-class circuits... we all knew this day would come but it happened so soon! *single tear-drop* Now for the inevitable slow downfall. Where's my popcorn?!

    "If you want to be more secure, loosen up"
    This can be applied to life in general. A lot of peoples' insecurities stem from living a tight life where nothing has changed in their regime since their childhood. People need to live a little and experiment some!

    I believe there was no other way to explain this simple physics concept. Only a holiday trip to Italy could help us solve that mystery.
