    I'm getting ready to go camping and I walked by my fridge outside vent and could hear the propane making a noise like it had air in the line. I thought it just needed to let the air work its way out of the line. An hour later it was still making the noise so I looked up your video and took it apart and cleaned it out. Now its running and not making any unusual noise. Thank you very much for your video.

    Thanks for this video, my fridge was clicking and took it apart to find that the slots in the burner had all burnt away. Heading tomorrow to get a new burner. Appreciate your sharing this.

    Thank you! My fridge's flame indicator wasn't working, and gas was burning out the air inlet orifice at the back of the burner tube. Took it apart, cleaned everything up and she works like a champ now.

    Thank you for posting this. I followed exactly, with the only difference being I needed T15 Torx. What is your thinking about not putting sealant (such as gas teflon tape) on the joint?

    • @bbbjim1fixedit
      @bbbjim1fixedit  ปีที่แล้ว

      gas tape or pipe sealant will interfere with the sealing of the fitting. Glad you liked the video

    If the pilot works but the fridge doesn't cool, do you think we just need to clean the chimney? Fridge works on AC and we have a battery attached for solenoid while powering with propane.

      you may wish to take a closer look at the gas valve. I wish you the best on your repair

      Having the same problem, what did this wind up being on your fridge?

      How do you troubleshoot the valve? Do you just replace it?

    • @bbbjim1fixedit
      @bbbjim1fixedit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may wish to double check the valve has 12 volts, under 10 volts the valve will not open.@@papakernz

      Thanks, I have adequate voltage, just wondering if the valve itself failing is something I should be concerned with? Is there some easy way to test that?
