Sleeping in a BOEING 747 COCKPIT Suite!

In this video, we sleep in the cockpit of an ex-Singapore Airlines Boeing 747 in Stockholm Arlanda. The Jumbo Stay B747 cockpit suite features a private bathroom and a very special upper deck lounge with 747 retro seats, sofas, a TV, a bar area and a fascinating collection of aviation books.

Those metal strips in the ceiling hatch are inertia reels used to slow the fall of crew escaping through the emergency exit hatch. Someone has partially deployed one or more. You grab the handle and hold on to it as you fall down the fuselage from the hatch and it pays out the metal band at a controlled rate. A thorough review but please calm down; it looks like it's been knocked together by migrant labour in imminent danger of deportation. They couldn't be bothered to clean or paint the exterior. As for you, you might also be impressed by such novelties as FIRE, and the WHEEL; ' a shower! Plug sockets! A heater!' And a view of one of Europe's lesser known airports. "Amazing!' 'Insane!' Really?
