Hey Noble, just word on warning if you continue to watch Faraway Paladin past the initial first 3 episode story arc. Episodes 4 and on start off ok, but quality in art and story start to drop off drastically. For example, one of the characters plays a stringed instrument for a crowd... You hear the music playing, and she is center camera... But they didn't animate her arms to move as if to actually play the instrument. And thats just the animation quality dip. Story wise, new characters get introduced, but then 5-10 min later the MC is like "Wow, we been traveling together for a long time" (It wasn't exactly those words, but that was the mentality from what I can remember). With no transition of any kind, very jarring. It's saddening actually, because I really enjoyed the first 3 episodes and there was so much potential.
You wouldn't be sleeping while playing a game using something like the nerve gear, even if your body is put in a state of rest your brain also needs to sleep, so the best you could do is sleep in the game.

The Shure SM7b requires a ton of gain from your microphone preamp and you may have to upgrade your interface, or invest in an external preamp, as some stock preamps aren't powerful enough. While it doesn't require phantom power, like I assume your old mic, it is less sensitive to outside interference such as your AC unit running, or your neighbor mowing their lawn. However you will have to project more just to get it to pick up your voice. To quote Kevin Hart, say it with your chest.
Also the Shure MV7X is 1/3 the cost of the SM7B. I also like the Rode Podmic at $100, and the Lewitt LCT440 Pure at $270

Hey Noble, just word on warning if you continue to watch Faraway Paladin past the initial first 3 episode story arc. Episodes 4 and on start off ok, but quality in art and story start to drop off drastically. For example, one of the characters plays a stringed instrument for a crowd... You hear the music playing, and she is center camera... But they didn't animate her arms to move as if to actually play the instrument. And thats just the animation quality dip. Story wise, new characters get introduced, but then 5-10 min later the MC is like "Wow, we been traveling together for a long time" (It wasn't exactly those words, but that was the mentality from what I can remember). With no transition of any kind, very jarring. It's saddening actually, because I really enjoyed the first 3 episodes and there was so much potential.
The sauce code that nux gave on the last video actually is real, but its about lolis.
