Adjustable modulator valve inner parts

I take apart an adjustable modulator valve to see what's inside. On further testing it appears 10 turns in is the limit before the screw comes off the threads. Starting with the screw flush with the outer edge of the vacuum nipple don't turn it in more than 10 turns.

Since you took it apart... how about starting that screw back in for 3 thread engagement, then measure the depth from top of the nipple to the top of the screw? That will define your stop point and maintain reliability.
