I love ships writings like this. The "hate first, love later" trope allows the writers to built on the relationship between the two and explore their personalities and see how far their character has developed.

@@sweetiethedogblooky8582 that probably was the intention, but after this episode, it was hard for some people(myself including) to not ship Jori pretty hard. Like, if gay couples had been more welcome at the time Victorious aired, I'm pretty sure Tori and Jade would have been bi.
