Who else is like damn man you missed that awesome train scene
I know!🙄
@@BogeyDopeYT I like that he closes his eyes. Videos can be distracting and have absolutely nothing to do with the song
@@waynecanning4122 I agree, but if he's going to close his eyes than he should just choose an audio only version to play.
@@SeminoleRail I like watching the video. I’ve heard the song 100 times though. Makes for a more interesting reaction. If he’s closing his eyes it means he’s digging the song. Nothing wrong with that. I guess we differ there and that’s cool
@@waynecanning4122 I personally hate it when he closes his eyes. If he's alone and vibing, then that's great! But he has 600K followers and I think it's disrespectful to the followers. Just my opinion and I know we are all different.
"What It Takes" & "Angel" are probably my favorites from Aerosmith.
They reacted to both of them!!
This era of Aerosmith is awesome
Love this song! Do Rag Doll next! 🎸🤘
Even more relevant now than when it was done over 30 years ago. Great song. Keep bringing Aerosmith. Hop in the way back machine and check out One Way Street from their first album next. Everything off their first five albums Is amazing.
Can't listen this song without hearing Weird Al's parody "Livin' in the Fridge. Speaking of which, when are you going to get around to reacting to Weird Al? You really need to hear his song White and Nerdy, which is a parody of Chamillionaire's song Ridin' Dirty.
You should really listen to more of their older 70's stuff!!
Chip Away at the Stone - Mama Kin - Toys in the Attic - Last Child - Train kept a Rolling - Kings and Queens - Dream On
@@Renkk17
Don't forget "Big 10 Inch Record"
Or "Nobodys fault"@@JohnStockton76
One Aerosmith song that doesnt get enough love is "Falling In Love (Is Hard On The Knees)
Great song. Just FYI, one of the best lines, "If you can tell a wise man by the color of his skin, then mister, you're a better man than I" comes from the Yardbirds' 1968 song, "Mister You're a Better Man Than I." Aerosmith clearly used it in tribute.
That video was in heavy rotation
on MTV when it first came out.
"Jaine's Got A Gun" is another Aerosmith
music video that was also in very heavy rotation
when it first came out.
I believe it's the one Aerosmith video that
seemed to air twice every hour when MTV
used to play music videos all day/night long.
It's definitely worth a watch.
No More, No More - Aerosmith - from the album Toys in the Attic.
The young man in the plaid shirt is Edward Furlong, young John Connor from “Terminator 2” 😊
You’ve done Living on the Edge, Crazy, Amazing off of the Get a Grip album. You have to do Cryin. Another amazing song. And completes the Alicia Silverstone trilogy
That kid was in terminator 2, that's how old it is, it came out in 1991.
1993
Edward Furlong. The movie came out in 1991, this music video in 1993
Yes Jay!!!! I've been waiting for your reaction to this one!!!! ❤
It's been on my list for a while! 😂
Real glad you reacted to this one, J! Aerosmith are easily my favorite rock and roll band, and this just might be my favorite of their songs! If you remember Guitar Hero and all that, Aerosmith had their own version back in 2007 and that was when my love affair with Aerosmith really began. I could not stop singing “Livin’ On The Edge” back then!
You have done a lot of Aerosmith song, but there's still more. Crying, amazing, Shut up and Dance, Blind Man, Falling in Love is so Hard on the Knees, Deuces are Wild, Chip Away at the Stone, Magic Touch, Walk This Way, and their cover of Come Together.
One of the coolest moments I ever had several years ago was when I went to Michigan and ended up staying at the same hotel as Aerosmith. I met Steven Tyler and he couldn't have been nicer and took a picture with me. I've seen them many times in concert and had tickets for their farewell tour, but unfortunately they retired due to Steven not being able to fully recuperate from his voice injury.
Lyrically, this is my fave.
Always a good tune with Aerosmith one of my favorites.
Its the old saying "the more things change, the more they stay the same"
1. Turbulent changes do not affect reality on a deeper level other than to cement the status quo.
2. A change of heart must accompany experience before lasting change occurs.
Great picks today!
Great song and words so true.
☕️☕️🎶🎵🎶
I still can't believe you haven't went down in the rabbit hole of old school Aerosmith and found KINGS AND QUEENS I'll bet it will be one of your favorites! ✌️
Couldn’t get here quick enough for this. I have been recommending it for so long
Great video, great lyrics, and a top 3 song of theirs in my personal opinon. I really love Joe Perry's guitar in this one.
This song fits todays world imo
Aerosmith in 1998 was my first concert. What a blast! Growing up an 80's kid I was so PUMP'ed for their 80's come back and 90's success.
I saw them on this tour too. Megadeth opened for them. My buddy caught Nick Menza’s drumstick.
@@waynecanning4122 Nice! I saw them at Van Andel. I think Seven Mary Three opened for them if I remember correctly.
@@waynecanning4122 I went to a show on that tour SO excited to see both megadeth and aerosmith(and what a strange but awesome combo!)...
I got there, and megadeth had dropped out and been replaced by...jackyl...
So disappointed...but Aerosmith was great!
5:48 1993. This is from the Get A Grip album, which also features “Eat the Rich”.
This song is a true immortal tune. no matter when you live, it applies itself to the current situation
One of my favorite 5 of their hits.
You are spot on about the relevancy. The imagery in this video is almost prophetic, considering the song is from 1993. I prefer early Aerosmith, but this is one of my favorites from the 90's.
Oh Jay, I’m so sorry you won’t get to see them LIVE. They are my favorite concert band. But they played hard and it catches up. They are the quintessential American rock band. Incredible vocals, three guitars and the heartbeat drummer. They can all sing. Most successful bands have this combo. They are poetry in motion. I cherish every time I’ve seen them. ❤
I can imagine how awesome they were live
I absolutely love this song!!
You must hear Weird Al's "Living In The Fridge"
I’ve never heard that one, I bet it’s hilarious.
70s Aerosmith will always be the best
Banger!
Saw Aerosmith the first time at Day on the Green 3 in July 1979 at the Oakland Coliseum. A/C, Ted Nugent, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, as well as St Paradise were also on the card. It was an amazing day.
I haven't heard this song in decades! I always used to play this cassette in my ghetto blaster. lol
Awesome lineup today, Jay. Hey let's go.
Great song choice
Steven Tyler wrote this song as they were in the studio and the LA riots were going on back in the '80s. It's appropriate for then it's appropriate for now. Will always be a timeless song.
For sure timeless!
LA riots happened in ‘92
@waynecanning4122 still the same meaning lol Just cuz my chronological mind doesn't work anymore 😂
@ I only remember because of the Sublime song. April, 29th 1992 (there was a riot on the street, tell me where were you)
You've done a lot of Aerosmith, true. Have you done Pink?
Love all Aerosmith songs, check out Dueces are Wild!!
YOOOOOOOOO!!!! If ya want a sorta deep cut (no video), give Aerosmith - Magic Touch, Young Lust or Monkey on My Back a listen!! I’ll even throw in a Shut Up and Dance for good measure lol! I could go further, but I’ll stop at that for now 😁😉😎
Yeah good choices
@@dreamstate1973 Thanks! 🤘
F.I.N.E. is awesome by Aerosmith
OMG JAY..You haven't done Walk This Way yet????!!!!!! Oh that has to be next!!!!
You also have to check out their cover of the Beatles' Come Together.
Forever Steven Tyler voice. He gave it all. No one like him.
I gotta say, later Aerosmith is just okay to me. I hate to say it, since I don't condone drug use, but their best stuff was in the early years when they were pretty much doped up ALL the time. It is what it is. Check out "Train Kept A Rollin" and "Draw the Line".
Pandora’s Box, Write Me A Letter, Big Ten Inch Record, and Reefer Head Woman.
now you HAVE to do weird Al's version... "livin' in the fridge" especially since the original is now fresh to you. btw Trivia Alert... if you keep your eyes open, you will see Edward Furlong (john conner from terminator 2) in this video
You should check out Weird Al Yankovic's parody, "Livin' In The Fridge"!😂
They're best song IMO.
Agree
"How can you not love Aerosmith" I actually have a coworker who does not like them. He grew up in the 70s too. (I grew up in the 80s)
He likes The Who, Rush, Van Halen, Def Leppard but avoids Aerosmith. I don't get it. 🤣
For some good Tyler scream, What it takes, is a great one.
Gotcha thank you!
I love you guys. Your videos are awsone
Great song by a classic band. You've only done 311 1 time. I highly recommend 311 "down"'
One of the Coldest Guitar Solos ever. Check out the Isley Brothers: 'Hope You Feel Better Love - Parts One & Two'. The early pioneers of Rock & Roll. Ernie Isley on Guitar (Who's That Lady).
They took Jimmy Hendrix in, and he lived with them, and their Mother for over two years.
Jay, Aerosmith and Run DMC, Walk This Way. You would love that song!
Good song good reaction
6:07 (album version)
6:21 (full version) US Billboard Hot 100 peak# 18 Released March 1993
Get a Grip, Pump, and Permanent Vacation are such good albums.
In my top one hundred of all time , not one of them is an aerosmith song
you haven't even scratched the surface of everything they have lol.
You did not call a fox body mustang convertible a lebaren lmfao
The disrespect!!!
The kid in the video, is the kid from Terminator Movies.
Love them so much!
Sorry if you already did it but, if not, I highly suggest "Dude looks like lady' and "What it takes"
I love 90's Aerosmith
I like the part near the end of the song when the note drops at does that Low Boom Boom Boom, Amazing..Jordan you need to do Celine Dion again its been almost a year or maybe a year sice you last did her,. All by myself or to love you more are my suggestionss.
Hangman Jury imo is a great song from Permanent Vacation.
Kinda sad that songs that have something important to say come out, become beloved, but ultimately nothign much changes. This, and "Right Now" by Van Halen are over 30 years old, "Land of Confusion" over 40 and there are so many other examples, yet any of them could have been written in 2025 and be JUST as on point.
Take another listen, and this time try not to close your eyes. You missed some really eye-opening visuals in the video, Brother J...
Want to hear something wild? All the 90s grunge bands ripped off Aerosmith. Listen to their song Seasons Of Wither and you hear a grunge song from the 70s
Now listen to Bob Rivers, " Cleaning out the Fridge" you'll never look at this song the same again.
For a message from 1982 that's just as true today, check out the song 'Open Your Eyes' by Lords of the New Church. They were a punk supergroup of sorts. The lead singer, Stiv Bators died after being struck by a car. He bumped his head in the incident, went to the E.R., got tired of waiting around to be seen so left and went home, went to sleep (which is a no-no with a possible concussion) and never woke up. He used to date og MTV VJ Martha Quinn for a spell.
" Big Ten Inch " is another one by them
They have been around a long time. You have barely scratched the surface of their catalog. Also, you missed the coolest part of the video because you had your eyes closed. Watch it again.
Yea somethings wrong with the world today....the party that lost. Thank God
Love hurts is another great one !
Even though it shows up as Aerosmith, Love Hurts is from Nazareth. Originally by the Everly Brothers, and covered by Roy Orbison in the 60's. Nazareth has the definitive Metal/Hard Rock version. Those videos showing Aerosmith are incorrect, the music in those videos is actually Nazareth.
I remember that from nazareth!
@ yes Nazareth did it before Aerosmith
Why wasn't this a hit??
One of my favs, keep the bangers coming
Can't believe you had your eyes closed through some of the best stuff! All through that guitar solo I was willing you to open your eyes to witness just how cool Joe Perry is...
How about some 70`s Aussie rock, try Glad all over and Boney Maroney by Hush and Jump in my Car and Dark Town Strutters Ball by Ted Mulry Gang.
Female Friday Girls that Rock coming up tomorrow...
Jay you really need to do Lovebites Swansong live with Chopin Intro Five of a Kind. Of you enjoy piano. This song is for you. Robsquad family will love this performance.
Have done Sweet Emotions, Hangman Jury, Walk This Way, or Back in the Saddle
You should check out Kings and Queens
Jay. Female Friday you need to listen to this all Female Metal band
..
Do Aldious Repeatedly.
The railroad bridge in this video is the same one from Stand By Me.
Check out their song Eat the Rich
AEROSMIIIITH!!! LET'S GOOO😂 My all time favorite group n your reactions to this group are always my favorites lol Thx so much for this one! You're on fire recently n much appreciated(:✌️🎸☮️
Gotta do Seasons Of Wither at some point. My all time fave by them(:
Love this song!
Definitely check out some early ‘smith, you will not be disappointed J
I'm really glad you got around to this song. But Jay, why play the video if u are going to have your eyes closed for most of the song? U missed the scene with the kid reaching into his backpack and there was a gun there. He decided not to use it though
I mostly love old Aerosmith. I saw them in 79 and get your Wings is my favorite album every single song Lord of the 5 seasons of weather trainkeeper rolling on and on.I love every single song on there. But I also like rock toys in the attic
I.
Meant Lord of the thighs.
You missed mentioning Edward Furlong who played John Connor in Terminator 2 being in the video
I'm a drummer and this one is fun. Not hard to play at all just fun. Our band used to kill this one.
Doesn’t look like you've done Walk this way (with Run-DMC) yet. A must to react to.
That was a Mustang
Damn, was this written last week?
