i felt stoked watching this and it reminded me of why i am an adventurer and the way i am, im a surfer at heart! i broke my neck surfing 25 years ago at D'bah cant surf anymore but love my adventures still every year i spend 3 months in El Salvador and usually visit other countries on the way and way back last year Hawaii, mexico and El Salvador this year ive booked my tickets for El Salvador and Fiji.
This brings back memories of the good old days , couple of ounces of home grown , few casks of port , 20 slabs of Emu Export , a bit of food , the lads and a week or so up at the Bluff or somewhere similar ! I remember 1 trip South of Yardie creek , we set up camp , made a fire , got smashed , a couple of days later the ranger pulled up peeving about our set up , we were like "whats the issue ?" only for him to point about a meter away to a no fire / camping permitted sign . He said he'd be back to check we were gone , guess what? he didn't come back and we got 10 days of premo secret lefts and not so secret Yardie.
Your channel is the freshest thing I've found on this website in a while. Especially of the surf related stuff. You guys are bananas!!! hope you guys are still at it
loved this video and your narration. You encapsulate a way of life loved by many but shared by few. living respectfully and with a low impact! I hope theres more videos in the works mate
This is fantastic, easily the most authentic surfing clip I've seen in a while. A notice to all the 'vloggers' out there - this is how you stitch a story together. Bravo.
Loved this, then read the comments and saw it really clicked with others. It reminded me of adventuring down the Baja coast of Mexico pull my 14' aluminum boat. That boat was so beat by the end of the trip we didn't even care anymore, almost looking for an opportunity to ditch it. The trailer hitch fell apart so we jammed the perfect rock in the tongue, duct taped it up and started getting sideways around corners. Never managed to flip it like you though!
This reminds me of a trip I did with my dad down in Baja a few years ago. Just two guys looking for adventure. We camped on beaches for two months. Just dirt bikes and surfboards with no goal in mind but to just enjoy ourselves. Cheers & enjoyed the video!
I’ve loved watching you videos mate. Love your narrative style and the rawness of it- takes me back to my own adventures. Keep it up, it’s so good. I’ll come back and try drop a link to another channel I think you might like. Cheers for the entertainment and for stoking the flames of adventure.
We had many great adventures doing Baja in the 70's. Scord 7 sisters insane. 3 days. Bigger every morning. Pushed our luck and got pinned down behind a bluff with drunk federalies taking shots at us. F u Mexico. Never went back.
