@UnitingG, you are an inspiration to me. Jus so ya know. Most that know me in the community, know me as someone that complains because I can't get to the level of mechanical gaming skill that they are. And of course being an older gamer it is of course harder because reflexes aren't as fast. But that's not an excuse or end all and I don't accept that. Part of tha game is psychological and the other is mechanical. Kill someone enough times and they get pissed or just quit. Defeated. That's what every gamer goal is, to make the other gamer wanna be like wow, nah I'm done. So I want you to know I use all your game settings minus sensitivity, from your second video minus the re-shader. I use the Nvidia Experience sharpness and color settings from your first video. And quit like the color settings over re-shader. Anywaysss, even after that I still can't get the hit reg you get. I know that may be a minor issue for you. You just adapt. And I do too in most cases. But half my losses in a one on one is hit reg. Is there a secret to having that kind of reg? Also, from a tech point of view and how refresh works on a monitor, mine being 165hz, what is the benefit to unlocking your frames above your actual refresh of your monitor? I've always been taught to lock your frames 3 below your max refresh. Keeps everything butter smooth with no ups and downs. I use overkill 4070ti on 13700k chip for bf4. And I hold my 163 frames locked and steady with no ups and downs. So I should have a really snappy game when I play. But something just feels off still. Almost like the game needs to be running in windows 7 instead of windows 11. I mean that's the operating system that bf4 launched with. Anyways, 13 year old game I know. Some skill issues of course, but one of the issues I shouldn't have. And that's hit reg. When I live in the USA I expect to have at least decent hit reg like you and in your vids. But ¾ of tha time I get better reg in Germany than here in tha USA. Like when I play bz13 tdm, reg is total dog shit. I get shit on so hard. It's that bad. And I have 2gig fiber. Anyways, I'm a full time bf4 player and steamer, and just really want to get to that next level and any input on my book here would really be appreciated and helpful. Also, aim trainers? When it comes to hit reg there is really nothing you can do but just make sure you are using ethernet to have a stable connection. Majority of my clips in my videos are when my reg is at its peak so I wouldn't use that as a comparison. Bf4 has shit reg in general not really anything you can do about it. Capping your fps to your monitor hz is a myth and you shouldn't do it. It does nothing but lower your fps for no benefit. I do use aim trainers but majority of my aim came from csgo and playing bf4 I really only used aim trainers to fine tune my aim. I do think aim trainers can help a lot with improving your aim but playing the game is be the best way to improve.
