Impressed by the few rounds used to dispatch your quarry. Next mission, no traditional ammo...you, 262, vs a dozen bombers in formation and you're armed only with spitballs, slingshot and a cueball! I'd pay to watch that 🙃 Stunning touch down, btw.

Chuck Yaeger got an Ace in a Day (12 October 1944). On his first two credited kills he just 'looked' at two Bf 109s and they collided with each other (www.chuckyeager.org/ace-in-a-day/). I've been working to weaponify my 'look' ever since...

@@WW2AviationGeek That's the Chuck Norris method of dog fighting.

Have you ever become a quad ace before? If not, it’ll be a great day once you do. Fantastic flying as always. Happy landings.
Edit: you have reached quad ace in a day, congratulations🎉

      Thank you!
I think I have learned to enjoy the actual flight more than the score. Finding the perfect arc between three planes is more satisfying than slowly chipping away at 5. I am sure I will get that perfect high score!

@@WW2AviationGeek surprisingly I would agree, the flight is very enjoyable.
Quick question, I’ve noticed that the bombers tend to fly in those V formations. Have you ever attempted to line yourself up to strike several down in one pass, or is this method rather difficult or dangerous, possibly both?

@@Xeno1001 Occasionally I can take down two adjacent bombers. The safest approach, with highest chance for hit, is from below coming up at about 70 degree angle. Come from the 4 or 5 o'clock usually gives both rear and upper gunner a shot... and progressing across multiple bombers gives multiple gunners a shot at you. But I'll give it a try....

There were a few situations where I would likely have been too hesitant to even start shooting at enemy bomber due to danger of debris likely causing devastating damage. By the way...is it possible to eventually get the Iron Cross in this game that would be equal to what Hans Ulrich Rudel got?

Many historical pilots were downed by debris. I think it is a hazard from firing too close. I’m not killed by debris as much as I used to be…

Yes, you can receive recognition and rewards. The Description of the video actually reports the rewards the pilot has received...

@@WW2AviationGeek I am actually astonished how extremely skilled you are at avoiding debris from damaged enemy planes. I think you are now much better at that (as well as shooting enemy planes down) than Erich Hartman ever was.

Thank you! I doubt I am more skilled than a real pilot at anything…
