Connected to the Land as a Wildland Fire Ecologist

Jessica Hudec’s interest in fire began in Alaska when she was conducting evacuation drills and working with the public. She was energized to learn more about fire and today, Jessica is a fire ecologist. Every opportunity Jessica has to explain her work makes her feel connected to the land and people she works with.
