- Met up with my longtime friend Evin, his dad, and his mom at Lake Grampus. It was a slow day, and we had to work hard for the fish. We were able to catch a few though. My buddy Evin had a pretty rough day.

I’m glad to see somebody gets to go fishing. I’m a truck driver and don’t get to go nearly as often as what I would like. I have another run out to California from Mississippi but when I get back, I’m taking my two grandchildren brim fishing and I’m hoping we catch a good mess, enjoy the fish that you’ve caught and God bless you
I was a flatbed truck driver for 12 years. Came off the road this past May. A lot of my videos were made in the back of a TMC truck
@@SOUTHERNLIFETIMES I don’t know a lot about TMC but I do know they got the cleanest trucks on the road. Did you retire or just come off the road to do something else?

How’s the alligator population looking? We drew a tag for there and we’ve never been! Looks like a good lake.

Sweet! Guess we will make the 3 hour drive next weekend to see what the lake looks like in the day time and see if we can get eyes on some.

@WilliamMccoy-x9m ok. I'm suppose to help film/assist some other guys on their gator hunt around those last 2 weekends in September. It's a pretty long lake with lots of trees and vegetation. Not a lot can be seen from the ramp because of all the trees and there's not a lot of clear bank to walk as well

@eddiecarpenter3459 That would be a totally different environment for me. Yall probably have the nice open, clear water lakes. It's like swamp thing, down on the Bayou here lol
@@SOUTHERNLIFETIMES I’m in southern cali so some of our waters are a little dark but yea northern cali got that clear water. My folks are from nacthitoches Louisiana so I know a lil bit about those swampy waters
