i have a small confusion regarding lightning immunity and conviction and the need for a sunder charm. i was always under the impression that conviction was the answer to lightning immunity - so if you are wearing the infinity, mons are already sundered, no?
Sundering Grand charms ensure that nothing else is lightning immune for a very cheap investment. With this your conviction will also make them take an additional 17% increase damage through Infinity in addition, the negative enemy light resistance also applies extra damage for you
Nice build! But one thing to note, the Cure, Insight, Prayer combo doesn't regen your mana, only the Insight does that. What it does is regen your life. Cheers!

I first tried a zeal paladin, then a frenzy barb and I was kinda bored with the lack of area of effect. Now I'm quite happy with my nova sorc 44 but kinda scared for the lightning immune coming on. I hope I'll be able to someday achieve a character such as yours here.
As a hardcore player, I always found the lightning sorcs to have the problem of dying too much. Especially nove where it makes you get right in the middle of enemy mobs... If you have infinity and sunder charm, a far safer build is blizz or hydra. More interesting too tactically. Gotta say though a nova sorc is gdly for farming nightmare fast especailly if she's 90 plus

Amulet is not possible. Mana craft amus will have (max) 10fcr 20mana 10mana reg. Then you can add 4 affixes more (presumibaly 2sk, extra 10fcr, 20@ and str/life/mana/res...). But your combination is not posible. Besides, wearing Viper you do not need 20fcr from amu, you're good with 10. Btw, you can enhance the handweild infy build by adding some nice mana boots and a war staff Cta with 3tstorm 3coldarmor 3energyshield (spares skill points for ES or Warmth). Warmth IS important. Against strong foes the peak in mana reg that Warmth gives can make the difference. And resiatances are not THAT important (because of ES) but STILL important (and not just poison, paradox here is that with cure and x3Prayer you do not rely that heavily in poison res anymore). There is another posible build. Which is basically switching Viper for Ormus. Increases dmg output nearly a 10% (and looses def and resistances). In this case, it does indeed require a 20fcr amu because ormus has 20fcr not 30. It's my favourite one. Cheers

I've really been enjoying being able to swap my treks for something else since my merc can use cure and COH now. I was using travelers but I was fortunate enough to find some boots with good light rez and MF. This helps not getting ganked by gloams. I still try to get my poison resistance to 10/20 since I'm energy build to keep my health from getting too low for my comfort
You can also take damage from the blood mana curse from succubus. Does damage to you based on how much mana you spend. Kinda makes teleporting around areas like the worldstone keep a pain... but still an amazing build overall
Nice video Im running crescent moon sword set up and i rly wonder if the self wield infinity worth the spend of the 2 bers. Mostly playing solo on btnet and rly find my deeps to be enought for dia and baal runs,even terorised
You may enjoy it more, everyone has their favorite, with regards to the Sorc class. I prefer lightning skills and nova, but those others mentioned there are also great!
I think treks are useless because only Worldstone Keep skeleton mages do enough poison damage to stop and go back to town. You can tank every other poison type otherwise. Due to this fact, war travelers are the superior choice for boots because it has relevant stats like MF.
Not much to a nova sorc. -60 lightning peirce is good enough, with or without infinity. My favorite budget setup uses cmoon/facet lidless, but there's vita and even vita/mb setups that are just as p8 viable (even more-so in certain areas than ES). The best overall DPS setup will utilize 6 nova wand with 2 facets and 20/-20 monarch of simplicity. Infinity wielding is as cookie-cutter as it gets; I have a few random videos posted on my channel. The most important skill for any nova setup is Static, which seems underused.

Yep My current setup is: Griffons//Vipermagi//Arach//Sandstorms//Crescent Moon//Spirit shield//Frostburn//2 Sojs//Tal amy I like the clear speed and the survivability
40 to life skillers of 6, perfect griffon and vipermagi with perfect light facets, perfect anni and torch, seems we can get this nice build with only 300 bers of wealth. Easily done
I'm curious, could you (or someone seeing this) explain how the Cure runeword benefits us? When reading about the Cleansing aura, it says that it "Reduces Poison and Curse duration for all party members." and nothing else. In what way does it stack with Prayer and Medidation aura for mana purposes? Thanks
How do you died so fast at 10:10 ? I thought with 3K mana and 1K health you would survive souls shooting at you. Does it really not matter to have res when using energy shield?
@@xijinpig7978 totally is! Which is why you can use the crescent moon variant and get going with no infinity, sure you're less powerful - but that can change once you get going.
sunder sets light res to 95, infinity lowers light res even further, increasing damage greatly. without sunder you can not drop down enemy light res as much
@@serenitynow3818 And Sunder vs non-Immunes does nothing, while Infinity will still do -82%. Against immunes, Sunder alone sets res to 95, then Infinity hits it with another -17%. They work really well together.
Hey! Not sure where you get that, crescent moon and spirit w/ Crack of the Heavens isn't anywhere near what you've stated. Everything is obtainable, you just need to play the game and acquire it. Hope this inspires you. Also, you can make an offline hero and play for 0 cost / time investment.
@@barricadettv CM&CotH is nowhere near infinity build, and no fun at all. Offline play is not interesting IMO. But for good gear 5k fg is a minimum to be able to farm all in lighting speed.

Started straight up nova and not blizzard this season, went up to farm "key locations"
This is by far my favorite build I have played. I ran it last season on HC. So damn fun!

You can do ormus eschutas 20 fcr amulet etc for a 200 for light sorc but you need top end gear for it to work.

The cleansing aura from cure can help with that. Also if you burn through all your hp, the curse will wear off and you can quickly regenerate it back.

Memory runeword is +9 to skills, so that's good! Crescent Moon isn't bad and neither is spirit. I hope this helps!

As per the Aura itself (Not listed on the skill):
Bonuses To Cleansing - Prayer: same as having Prayer active without mana cost.

Probably the handheld w/ all 3 synergies on the merc. Just feels strong and does great dmg.

You never showed your nova damage, you always had energy shield on with menu open.

absolutely just be sure you've got Poison res capped and your ES is 40. Then you're golden.

Sorry hammerdin is still the only build worth using. Sorc is b their at best no matter the build. Din is ss goated tier
After 2 full seasons I can tell you HDIN is the move, but it's nice to try new things. Real Steel Paladin deal is very slick.

WorldStone Keep Gloams deal damage and reduce mana, so they are a terrible opponent to encounter. Just bad luck.
Great build when you have 5k FG :), otherwise you can't dream to make a sorc like this.
