The part about cancer I can relate to I had stage 3 cancer and it was slowly killing me, I want to thank god for getting rid of the deadly disease that was taking my life, I also want to thank my wife, family, and friends for staying by my side while my body was fighting the disease
People who say leave your religion at home, you need to understand, we spread God's word because its our duty. Its our job. When God commands it, we listen and you should too. Its your choice, but everyone should obey God. Its our duty to be the light in this world and try to help people find the light by spreading the word and helping you understand how you save yourself from eternal damnation. So no we will not leave religion at home. Sorry, we are not allowed to do that.

I have no idea what I believe. Religion and I have a love/hate relationship. But I have ZERO problem with you both speaking about your faith. That’s the amazing thing about living in this country, you can pray to whoever you want to, I can choose to pray to whoever I want to, or not pray at all, that’s the freedom we have. Differing religious views shouldn’t have no effect on how people think of you. I love your reactions not because of the religious aspect, but because you both are so sweet and genuine. You guys should check out 'Get Up' by the band shinedown. I first heard this song shortly after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, it has been such an inspiration to me.
People will look at this old vet in shock, when I say that God can have me today if he wants and i feel that living here on earth, is the closest to hell I will ever get. Why as a Christian, would I be afraid of going to heaven? What scares me. Is living to watch, what five generations of my family of vets, who was willing to die to protect, be destroyed by the evil in our own people, with support of our bought off politicians. God has me. Death is just the boarding pass to your flight home. Death? Naw, I stopped caring about that a long time ago. Oh, because I say this, doesn't make me "at risk" as they like to labeled shit. I'm here to God says. That is His decision and not anyone else's. Until then, I will be who he made me to be.
