Yeah, it just looks like printed fabric on wires. Very underwhelming and not worth the price imo. Nothing like the videos the maker shows.
My little brother bought a cookie blanket from Amazon (which he really loves lol) but it looks like the same printing style as the wings!!

The second dress looks actually a lot better with those bows off your shoulders. When they are on your arms the top is not that "overwhelming" and it feels ethereal!

omg I ordered from Luz Castillo too! I'm SHOCKED by the price, the pieces are 1000% handmade and I can't imagine how long it takes her. The material is def cheaper, but it comes with so many pieces for that price.

I don't, the dress looked cute and I never thought it to be sexy, which proves that sexualisation happens in the viewer eyes and it's their personal experience. It's not children that should dress "appropriately" it's adults that should control themselves.
The dress is quite literally clear mesh with a few beads and jewels on it. Kids should be allowed to wear whatever but since they are minors its the parents job to protect kids from being sexualised because weird ppl do still exist.Its not always in the eye of the beholder and can be from a protective point of view. the second dress’s ad was a 3D render. that’s why it looked so perfect, it was too perfect. in person it doesn’t look as good but still quite nice when it’s off the shoulder.
Yeah that was my impression as well. The model picture (at 6:30 in the video) seems to be just a photo with a regular amount of editing, right? As in, it's not a 3D render?
nah, it looks real. I thnk the problem is that none of these dresses were steamed or ironed. They could be aranged in a way that makes them look fuller. Even with the last dress there is supposed to be 3 differents types of petticoat to the skirt, small, big, and large to blend in with the flat part, and it didn't work out because the dress was flattened in the mail.
I just can't get past the fact that it's 1.5 grand. Looks too cheap for that amount of money to me 😔
it's not a 3D render, the dress is just arranged and ironed. We know what such sessions look like and how much time is spent on arranging clothes in a specific way.
@@AndromedaApokalipsy when the video was shown I was convinced it had to be a 3D render too, but you're right. I looked up the company's instagram to look at the video a bit better, and I think the reason it looks like a 3D render is because of the incredible shininess of the dress' fabric, the fact they arranged the dress in a way that can never be achieved for actual wear, the wayyyy too smooth camera movement and because the shadows look sort of 'off' (probably because of the lighting equipment they're using). The quality of the video is also absolutely insane, and for a minute I thought that it was filmed on a phone because of the shape of the shadow moving over the dress and the couch. I looked closer and it's probably just really expensive camera equipment. It's just all done in such an incredibly professional and stylised way it doesn't look real anymore. Which I think makes it all the more misleading, sadly.

I know right! I have been eyeing that dress for a while, I want that in red for my graduation.
It “looks like AI” because it’s a digital rendering, not a real video. Most fashion pieces’ designs are finalized digitally before the final version is made. That is what is being shown in the video, which is why the lighting looks off, the dress seems like it’s floating, the camera movement is so smooth, etc. That doesn’t mean it’s a scam as the designer is just showing the model the design is based on, but it is deceitful since people who don’t know that much about how clothes are designed won’t be able to tell the difference.
@@Myfartssmell If you get it for your graduation, which I hope you do, you can iron out the skirt completely and poof up the petticoat with a steamer for a closer look to the original (check for the material list because if it's silk you can't put any steam) :)

i am shocked at how affordable a lot of these dresses are for what you're getting. some brands are absolutely robbing us
we do get robbed lol but even some of theses dress/item have way to many "mistakes" and by that I mean choice of design that could have been better and more flattering for their prices, literally the only item that doesn't have anything unflattering about them is the first skirt and top so only 2 item
and other brands are absolutely robbing their employees.

As a crafter (knitting/crochet) - THANK YOU for not saying anything negative about the price and pointing out that it takes time (especially for custom). 🥰 And for the bow, I would use some thread to tie/sew some ruffles on each side (think folding a paper fan) to make it appear more like a bow!
That was chunky yarn, that took her like 2 hours max to crochet. I m a crocheter myself, it was very badly made, like a 5 year old who was learning how to crochet

I used to work as an ethnic wedding dress designer and the reason we don’t usually start the poofiness at the waist on gowns is because it throws off the body proportions and you lose your shape/waist. I’m guessing that is why they did that on your wedding dress 😁.
