They are there you are not ! You are complaining they are not ! As an ex smoker who enjoyed it for forty odd years and only gave up because from the day I started it was used as a bottomless tax revenue by greedy politicians who didn't want to ask the rich to pay their share and made it so expensive only a rich tax dodging person could afford it ! I live in England we used to have a very social pub scene here where you would go and socialize with people in your community ! Then people like you started whining about it (and let's be honest those complaining only went once a year or so ) so a smoking ban was brought in so then for a short while people would go to the pub and have to stand outside in the bad weather to have a smoke and guess who else was stood with us , the very same people who complained about it in the first place now complaining they don't like sitting on their own ! Then people stopped going to the pub because now a smoke-free atmosphere the dominant smells in the pub was that of the gent's urinals and the body odour of them that was complaining ! Now after just a few years most of the pubs have gone there is no more community and youngsters no longer have any where to go , no real community so hope your happy sat at home on your own (yet still complaining and giving other people grief and let me guess saying you live in the land of the free and the home of the brave ) !
