Does this has same drive assembly as B215 ? Nakamichi dragon is not better because it has cheap plastic gears, tire, and belts. Tandberg is good but too many belts. The Aiwa 9000 model is best japanese deck.
Revox it’s only Cassette deck that doesn’t have any belts or idler tires to worry about , and it is easy to service, but they have 2 problems One is that the red diode for end tape sensor goes bad and you need to replace all old electrolytic capacitors in order to work properly.

Yes it does have more less the same transport, no the Aiwa 9000 it’s not the best Japanese cassette deck, it sounds more like a digital than analog

That tape should be played on 70 us, not 120 us as you did set.
It doesn’t matter if it set 70us or 120us in playback mode, it just sounds brighter, I like it better
