- The most difficult part of the stage by far is the middle section, cause it requires a lot of very precise deployments and their skills aren't activate exactly when you deploy them but rather they have a little delay, overall Texas is stronger than yato is the vast majority of cases, it's not just a matter of killing on deploy, with S3 she can solo some of the hardest stages in the game while yato excells in very high burst damage on deploy and even then she is only better than texas at that in some situations, not every time

In the “old days” this stage was beaten with just magallan and Mayer

This brought be back to that time before I started playing AK, a few days after I saw someone beat this stage with like 8 ops. I remember doctors in the comments saying stuff like "This is going to be insane on Global" or "I'm terrified when this stage comes out."

I couldn't have gone past the sixth stage of the first event. I mean, I probably could find a guide or something...but Big Bob made me not really want to try when I saw his numbers.
When it came around for second time, he felt like just yer regular elite that melts in seconds.

These two really make phantom look like a 5 star
i'm still a beginner and the first time i knew about them, i immediately thought: "it seems like with just the two of them, almost all the problems in this game can be solved"
i mean... if you can't just with 2 operators like this, just bring a full squad of vanguard/defender + medic to hold on. let the two of them be the only dmg dealers

@@riojaneiro4130 I am not sure it works too well when the level has a large number of aerial enemies. Only one that can hit those is Texas alter, and you will have moments where you cannot redeploy fast enough. Or, if the aerial enemies are those flying saucer things, the damage done is not enough. So both these ops work well in a balanced team.

And considering 99% of the maps in the game can be cleared with just a handful of operators, there's really no reason to have fun and use both if you want to. The only time I've actually used all 12 slots is during very high risk CC. And CC is ending so that's not even a problem either in the future.

After clearing IS3 all 3 ending in less than 6 runs total, I fully believe that Fast Redeploy Executor Class is the strongest class in this game.

If you told me a year or two ago that I would be able to beat this stage with just Texas and Yato I would punch you in the face for the insult, but now I just feel happy at two operators getting what they deserve after so long.
Original Texas is a great character though, even now. Not sure why the tone that suggests she's crap.
Do you realize that just by using Texas you can get bonus 13 DP within the first few seconds of the stage, on top of Myrtle? Deploy her, wait a moment, use her second skill, retreat her to get back 3DP. Together with the fact that just by being in the squad she gives 2 bonus DP, she outperforms even Myrtle for the very first moments of the stage since Myrtle can get you a net 10DP after 17 seconds, while Texas can give you net 10DP after just 10 seconds.
Furthermore, she has decent stun at 3 seconds, AoE, and able to hit flying enemies if I recall well.
So yes. If I want to really up my early-stage DP gain, I will use Texas for certain. If I need an early 'free' blocker I will also use Texas, just without the retreating part, getting a bonus 7DP instead. Unlike Myrtle, she can stop more than one enemy and deal with enemies that are tougher than Myrtle can, on top of not losing her blocking ability to get DP.
Texas has ABSURD damage AND insane utility wich is why she is regarded as more broken
Yato alter has higher total damage and faster damage cycles but her lack of utility and lack of arts damage makes her more of a solely nuke instead of an actual all purpose fast redeploy wich is what texas alter is
Texas' stun alone is so fucking crazy. Seriously not sure what they were thinking with that.

Cc 12 max, Texas got optimized out. In this vid, yato is the boss killer, otherwise she could have used S3 and be far more impressive. . Doubt Texas can fill the boss killer role with s2

She was also UNAVOIDABLY the most important unit on CC11 and she is the best pick for IS3 in the game
Yato s2 is PURE damage wich can be done by practically anyone in the game but texas s3 is undoubtedly irreplaceable wich is why she is regarded as the best 6 star in the game
Yato has just damage while texas has extremely high damage ALONGSIDE insane utility wich yato lacks
Also yato is physical so believe me when i say she sucks on most content outside youtube showcases as even something as 700 defense more than halves her annual damage while texas can lower the res of the enemies with same number as pramanix m3
Also texas s2 and yato alter s2 actually has the same total damage but yato just deals that damage much faster (not to mention that texas alter can recast skill wich makes her total damage go higher)

Powercreep has different explanations for every game in existence and for arknights its basically an operator rendering other operators niche obsolete as arknights never "dirrectly" powercreeps operators so traditional powercreep is not found on this game but by playing with numbers and mechanics such as giving multiplicative kit to pozy alongside a typewriter you more or so feature creep Schwarz and Fartooth
You can actually see this EVERYWHERE when you spesificly look at 5 stars as almost 90% of new 5 stars are borderline trash compared to their old counterparts such as how cement is a joke compared to Aurora

No one really "powercreeps" anyone since each operator have a different role. Texalter for CC, Kirin X Yato for damage, and Phantom for versatility.
From what I see:
Texas' attack lasts longer, can continuously fire more of the projectiles at a target individually, can hit aerial units, and can stuns.
Kirin's attack lacks all the extra gimmicks, but instead does WAY more damage in a shorter amount of time.
Although, it could just be that the boss has high RES compared to defence.

texas can inflict -30% res and yato cannot, this alone should be enough to tell you everything you need to know.
The stun damage reduction and everything else is enough too
They should've at least given Yato some DEF ignore. Content nowadays has so many medium to high DEF enemies, she's basically useless without a buffer like Skalter or Warfarin.

Texas the Omertosa ALSO deals physical damage, except with her second skill and her sword rain attacks on the third skill. Her first skill and her normal attacks on third skill? All of them are physical.

And I'm sure coneyrivard (Texas og designer) designed her with red in mind but Il Siracusano theme and art direction is blue so it has to be changed. I mean they retconned Lappland’s background from mysterious lone wolf to suddenly being another rich Siracusan mafia kid like Texas. Maybe if Lappalter comes she would be the one suddenly getting red in her color schemes.

Isn’t it a similar issue to penance Mudrock? Ones better for most content the other is better for the most annoying content? Also, why wouldn’t a massive collab character be powerful at least to take over part of another characters niche?
Mudrock is honestly better in 90% of situations since Penance's shield stack up extremely slowly especially when it has even moderately strong mobs, it's just that Penance take too long to reach her full potential and that's an if the stage allows that, usually the truly hard content like ex 8, you have problems doing that, IMO she is pretty much cc only where the stage doesn't change but just the stats
Penance is overrated I regret building her, she's no way close to mudrock

@@sirhellsing Penance really needs Blemishine to shine TBH. She struggles hard by herself in EX CM stages due to the abundance of high ATK elite enemies that just shred through her shield before she can get her skill up.
@raymond7873 the thing is that with Blem, my mudrock can bonk twice the amount so she is still not that useful, her s3 relies too much on weak enemies which might not exist in harder stages, she is strong but too situational

Its a natural thing, that only retards cannot accept. Characters in mobies ALWAYS get stronger and stronger with every year, because gacha games need to encourage you to spend. Also the game needs to get harder and harder (so you need the stronger heroes) otherwise people are losing interest in game (its too stale, finished and boring)
To put it simply, someone stole your job position and does better than you, now your boss gonna ignore you and put more attention to new guy
