Dilemma to buy Oppo Find X5 Pro or VIVO X80 Pro but after doing some research and watching reviews of both phones, finally bought Oppo Find X5 Pro. No regret, superb phone overall

yeah finally the video I have been waiting . for me i will choose vivo in term of night video and also photography. It has more brightness but it does not overexpose it handle properly the light also good for night vlogging and less editing since the video is already bright.

Great video. Prefer the Oppo overall due to the colours, but it's very close and I prefer the Vivo on some. Would be great to see you do a Find X6 Pro vs Vivo X80 Pro Plus in the future, as both should (hopefully) get a bump in their zoom cameras and more experience by Oppo and Vivo on colour science, using their respective imaging chips
It depends on the preference of the user. With the integration of Zeiss Technology to X80 Pro, I think photos are taken with paler or natural colors to achieve a more flexibility to post editing. Find X5 Pro, on the other hand, renders the photo to what ordinary users perceive to be beautiful by tuning the colors a bit. The photos taken are upload-ready to social media. Videos, both are good with only difference to how light passes through the lens. The X80 Pro did a good job in Night Mode on video and photos. I don't think that most people will take pictures in the dark so I prefer the Find X5 Pro. Though the light passing through the lens is a bit lower compared to the X80 Pro, natural colors with decent brightness is better for me. Overall, both phones excel at specific parameters. But for me, in general, X80 Pro is more of a pro in photos and videos even in editing while Find X5 Pro is more of capture-and-post.
I hope you can make a review with their ultrawide videos and photos as well.
X80pro win it for me. It retains more details although the color could be a little bit off but the color can be tuned and details can't.

I have the Vivo X80 Pro and I don't use Zess mode since it just mute the colours completely. You just need the regular vivo mode to get better and even accurate photos

I do not know the Vivo, but the video quality of the Oppo find x 5 pro is phenomenal ! All my videos made during the Marcus Miller concerts are in maximum quality (4K 60 frames per second) and all in the front row! Take a look if you want to see how it looks ;-)

I have used an Oppo myself. They are consistent in their software updates etc and I have not used a vivo b4.. However I will choose X80 Pro this round. Nicer design and importantly the Zeiss brand name. Cheers
Wondering about the consistency of the software support and update. Never use vivo nor oppo before. Currently sticking with OnePlus. Just bought x80 pro. Hope all is well 😌
@@ashraffendy2010 vivo has been consistent on the update, using x70 here malaysian set. if you already in heavy photo taking i suggest taking pro version instead of standard version

I have wondered if you test side by side two of the same phones, if you would see any difference. I have done this and every camera has different characteristics. Test two oppos or vivos and see if there is a difference.

fantastic comparison, written and on video, the colour differences don´t seem so great on my laptop, maybe it depends on our displays...
exactly , i am on 32" QLed LG 4k monitor, and can't see the color difference, only the night mode shots.
Both about the same value now ...

vivo’s coloring suitable for both men n female, oppo’s coloring is more girlish, perhaps special made for girls, great review

Look through whole youtube, i think this is the only comparison video i can found. Will be great if you add in : when video-ing zoom in and out to an object to check on their focusing.

Are you using night mode or just stick to auto mode when taking pictures and video on night time because i heard oppo x5 do much better night shot when turn on the night mode
All night shots are taken using Night Mode on both devices.
It's worth pointing out that Vivo uses a longer shutter time than Oppo, hence most pictures, it is able to brighten the image more.
I have both phones. They are very good. For other functions, I prefer Oppo. Sound is louder from Oppo.

When it comes to camera, night photography would always be my basis of a good camera. And X80 pro wins in that aspect. It's just so frustrating that it has no stabilization in wide camera video.

in scene 4, your skin tone on the Oppo looks exactly as it is in your live narrative.
You can compare the greatness of the two cameras by looking at the light control at night, Oppo controls lighting better than Vivo, compare when there is no light

Both made by the same company. I bought the Vivo for the Zeiss video night cinematic mode.
Vivo looks like a better choice given better camera versatility for the same price

If I'm going to buy one of these devices because of overall features, design, os etc.. I would pick oppo although vivo is incredible device. However, if I'm going to buy the device mainly for the camera then I'm going to pick vivo although oppo has incredible cameras.

I chose Vivo. Already using the X80Pro right now. But it's not which brand is better. It doesn't matter, both brands belong to the same company (BBK).
Had memory problems with my Oppo Find X2 Pro. Before it kicked the bucket (today actually) it kept looping powering up and shutting uncontrollably down. Could not save any of my picks. No more oppos for me.
That's the purpose of night mode that's why it is more brighter. I prefer vivo.
Oppo for all camera , vivo for shot people with accurate skin tone .

3:10min and onwards -->> Oppo is WAAAAY better when you loook to the floor details.. it has clearly more details everywhere, BUT when it has more grains you can almost smooth it afterwards. If your picture is taken already with smooth is way harder to add detail/grains.
in my opinion, the results of the Oppo Find X5 Pro camera are better than the Vivo X80
