Great review, so much so I went out and bought an X10. Very pleased with it, especially as the price had dropped to £199.99, but overall it is a great step up on my old Nokia 6.
Pure Android seemed good at first, and then you realize that it lacks basic features at an OS level. I was particularly miffed at the lack of a reachability feature on my 7 Plus. Now, call a Lumia phone anything, but at least Windows 10 Mobile bothered to have that feature in 2015. It also didn’t help that the updates seemingly broke some stuff as it updated others. I don’t have any examples on hand, but I remember hearing that the Nokia 8 Sirocco got horrible to use after the OS updates.
Unfortunately Nokia totally lost it in the update department. They are about the slowest nowadays. Some devices don't get any more updates. That's why they give away 50% coupons to those customers to get a new Nokia. So hilarious. 🤷😂
I still have my 6.1 nokia as a second device besides my mi 10 t lite and still works smoothly and is still fast enough and as far as build quality is concerned it can only be compared to flagships due to its full aluminium body. The only downside is the small 3000 ma battery. I prefer android one to the miui but modern specs of Xiaomi and speed are much better.
I got an X20 and do like it a lot. I had a 6.2 before that and 3.1 before that. It runs very smooth and does everything I want it to do. With the solid construction and three years of os updates it is well worth the price.
I got a redmi note 10 pro for much cheaper, its got amoled 120hz and a way better camera and cpu but all good man i doubt the processor will work with up to date apps in 3 years hahaha

I ended up buying this phone and I'll list why: -It's not Chinese. -The Snapdragon 480 5G is not the same as a Snapdragon 480, it's updated and much stronger, more comparable to the 760 in fact. -Build quality. I'm actually really impressed with how solid it feels - it does not feel cheap at all and it's much better than the fragile glass casings you get nowadays. -3 years Android and security updates. -It's very well optimized. This phone can run well and for extended periods, throttling is handled really well. Look at the video of the Poco compared to this. Cons: No Amoled (but you get a gorilla glass screen instead that's a pretty good LCD display), the selfie cam is decently meh and stock android isn't for everyone with some features lacking. In summary, I bought this phone for longevity and build quality rather than super high spec phones that aren't even optimized well.
@@zephorianvephorian777 Sure thing. The touch screen from my experience is pretty sensitive, sometimes my finger only needs to hover and it'll register. The blue light filter works. can you remap gassistant button with root?
Nokia X10 Video stabilizing ?
Bro how do you get wallpapers from?😂
sometimes data research is even more important than pure user experience for just a few days
I'm thinking of buying the X10 but wanted to know if it has wireless charging??
YES
What about a Flagship from Nokia??
Nice to see Nokia providing what every phone manufacture could, that is, a Screen Protector and a passable Case.
However, I'd never buy a phone with one of those pointless Google Assistant buttons, nor a dedicated Camera button either.
I'm guessing that Google probably discounts the Android OS if they add a dedicated Google assist button to the phone.
@@ThisWontEndWell Agreed. I very rarely use the assistant and when I do, it's voice activated. With the button, I'm concerned that I'd continually be activating it.
Ditto the Camera buttons on some of the Sony phones.
Thankfully, my most recent budget Sony phone doesn't have one! 😉
@@neorich59 i never miss click camera button in my xperia. I prefer camera button because of my shaky hand
Google assistant can be disabled in settings
