I've read that in an event like the big Cascadia subduction earthquake, there will be about a minute of P-waves before the destructive shaking begins in cities like Portland. Do you think it would be safer to use that time to flee from brick buildings, or is it safer to get under cover given how quickly these buildings fail when the real shaking begins?
hello earthquakesim i have 2 unique ideas for earthquake simulations: a human sized cat house and an igloo, i have been thinking about the igloo one for half a year
I really enjoy watching these, but unfortunately I noticed that it's limited in realistic effects. Cars explosion/crush, Stairs flying away from sideways gravity, the ground underneath and surrounding the buildings destruction. To be fair though, I don't think anyone has a strong enough computer to run the simulations for something that'll be a 95% realistical damages. Could be extremely helpful when you might be informed ahead of time and you'll know where is logically the best place to be. Great job regardless though! Btw, do you have a video based on Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Tornados, Sinkholes, Volcanic eruption, etc. natural disasters in a single video? Could be very interesting to see a city's destruction from each potential Natural Disaster and for a bonus clip, you could be Less natural and more human caused disasters like Missiles, Nukes, Atomic, Hydrogen, etc vs NYC.

@@ssheikty2259 you will definitely enjoy this more than my other videos!😁
Woooo epic simulations, I think the asteroide one is my favourite!!🔥🔥
thanks for sharing this! what's your favorite simulation on my channel so far? :)
That's so funny when those particles started bugging out in the small explosion simulation lol
@@Anthony_GrayCat :) yep!! Thanks for watching!!
This is great! Keep up with the nice work :)
thank you frieeeend!!!!
Quick question: Could you make a video of an earthquake in Dublin, Ireland? I'm from Ireland, and I think it would be cool. Great video, by the way!
do you have any building idea in mind from Dublin? :)
@EarthquakeSim hmm. Maybe a historic building like the GPO or maybe The Custom House would be cool to see
It was so fun to watch EQS! I would like more content like these! I think i would watch it again.
sure! I will do more physics experments
I love you. This videos are so good. Make more please.!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@katherinefoster1932 i am always making new videos! 😀

Yay new cars!
Yeah! In my country it premieres at 2pm. I'll be there!
@@DisasterMovieClips awesome!! This means so much to me!!!
@EarthquakeSim No problem. I love your videos, and I try to watch them when they're uploaded
Epic
@@The_plane_ST4R most intriguing simulation I’ve done so far :)
Can you recreate Kuala Lumpur?
the Petronas Towers?
Yes
Woah, this is cool!
@@Seavixenn848 thanks for watching friend!! :)
Hey, i was wondering if u can do Philadelphia? I love all the video and i would really appreciate it if u do!
I miss u bestie 😢😢😢🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm so sorry I couldn't make the premiere. My phone went dead and I couldn't find the charger 😅
no worries friend :)
@@EarthquakeSim haha. I'll try to tune in to the next premiere!
I will be exited! I live in japan now so i will be keeping my eyes on this👀
@@回転スシまる awesome!! Greetings from Chicago!!!
Bonsoir, j'aime bien l'atmosphère étrange de cette simulation, merci.

I kinda want to see you do a traditional chinese or japanese building, like a temple or a pagoda?
6 hours?! I will still be on when the stream starts tho (it will be 8:00 pm when it starts)
@@HoowyPlayzYT yep 6 hours left ;)
Its4 for me
How long is the stream for my time it is 8pm starting and I have school tomorrow
@@Shakirsalihin it will be short, about 20 minutes :) but you can join the live chat on one before
@@SimonSmolcic-zm7qv it is not a game but a 3D software that I use called blender :)
Id say the Kobe 1995 earthquake was the most intense earthquake I've seen on a clip. You can see the ground in circle motion.

4 hours? That might be a little bit too long but its your choice so its ok!
Only 2 hours left :)
Is the medium quake the record from Norcia of the M6.0 quake of 24 august 2016, or the one of 30 october (M6.5)?
I will say from here
Asteroid quake is powerful

Most cities got being destroyed (like turkey)
the problem is our unreinforced brick buildings :(
@@TTAASLH_YT frr
Can u add dummy's to let the vid be fun😀
The explosion and the quake were directly fatal, the rest was also fatal. Only the medium quake was survivable
@@wilcofaber9863 just realized that the building collapsed in all scenarios but one :)
The ground tilt is survivable if you are on the ground floor and evacuate just before it collapses

First! And i got a note for you i won’t be in the live stream

Why do the trees have ragdoll physics all of a sudden
So if you live in Brooklyn, youre screwed..
@@redmoon510 unreinforced brick buildings are the real problem 😀
Stay out of NYC townhouses! At least here in California you would have a good sporting chance! with Earthquakes that is minus a small or medium quake!
there are no telephone poles in brooklyn
1:00 small?
Game???
