Alle tiders - stadigvaek - I just regret so much that I did not have the privilege of being at Montmartre Jazz Club in Copenhagen when they played there in the 60's Thank you Papa Bue, Liller and all you other great musicians - playing beautiful jazz with that special Danish twist to it
I ask myself if his band ever played together with Chris Barber’s British band? Both bands have that really musical adaptation of the New Orleans Heritage and should have collaborated, but their trumpeter Bent Person did play with Humphrey Lyttelton’s alumni on New Orleans numbers.
I love this group but knew nothing about them except that I have a CD of their's from the 70's, that I listen to a LOT. What a nice surprise to find they are still active.
Danish seems to be the only language which has no consonants and no vowels but only sounds which are a combination of both. Should be included in Franz Boas' 'Handbook of American Indian Languages'. (But their beer is impeccable.)
😂 Thanks. We have vokaler and konsonanter. A, E, I, O, U, Y. Is vokaler. So in the Danish language there are only 9 vowels to relate to. The rest of the alphabet's 29 letters thus consist of consonants. 😃
Immer herrlich... dieses Jazzstück.
Besonders von Chris Barber!!!!!
Es ist eigentlich jeder auf seinem
Instrument EIN Künstler!!!!!
