This is a great list of tools for doing construction projects . I'm especially excited to hear that people are working on integrating BIM with Shetchup. I've been looking more and more at Autodesk's Revit for my building design projects but Revit is far more expensive ... like $2,000+/year. With GKWare or some of the other cabinet design plugins for Sketchup I can set up a kitchen and bath design system for my 10+ employees for way less than possible with Revit ... and with Sketchup we can add in full remodeling designs with relative ease. Thanks for putting together this great list.
I think people forget about this a lot - SketchUp is SO much cheaper than a program like Revit, but they complain about having to pay $50-$100 for an extension. It would be way more expensive to try to use a program like Revit. Thanks for the comment!
So true, and then there is the investment in learning curve, workflow, and interface. The footprint and flexibility of SKU is very light albeit you must augment heavily w extensions to optimize productivity for architectural work. Thanks again to Justin for helping the pros connect to the right extensions.
Every time i see you brother, i remember my self reflected on a christmas ball

Have you looked at cabinetsense? I’m interested in you opinion.
Good job Justin! Very nice.
Thanks Willem!
Cool extensions, it would have been nice to have seen this video sooner.
Glad you liked it!
Awesome list!
Thank you!
I've never taken the time to learn how to properly use the Outliner. A video about that would be helpful.
