Nah the more I see Barghest the more I dislike her. Who wants Volleyball sized tits on a character. If they toned that part down and kept her really muscular body then she would be attractive for sure.
By turn 3, with double castoria and oberon, she only losses by about 15% against Summer Ibuki, 5% if she hits Chaotic. For a tank class with an 2 hit Invul skill, it's actually insane
She retains her Lancer's AoE Traits of Ramping, loss her ST power in exchange for having the 1 thing her Lancer Self never could have. A Crit Buff of her Own that can go above 50% if you do her NP even once. Ironically, compare to her Fellow Fae Knights, She has the most straightforward and basic Kits
and yet they actually managed to fix the ruler class because of her straight forward kits. What ruler lacked the most was DAMAGE. Who would have thought that giving her an AVENGER game style would fix her DAMAGE issue by being ruler (pretend to be shocked). You may complain about her lack of NP damage during farming, but I can assure you after witnessing her crit damage from her arts card after 1 NP, you will never be the same again.

@@julilanche you can go 1 castoria and 1 protomerlin if you feel there is not enough stars generated, but honestly speaking after play testing her, I'd simply go 2 castoria for farming. With 2030 CE you can mitigate her lack of star generation even further but I also don't think 2030 should be used on castoria. I'd just stick with bond CE since her damage is only 15% less than S. Ibuki Pretty broken tbh

I just did some math in my head. If you start her with black rail and have a maxed out upend then with two castoria‘s and her third skill max out she has enough raw NP to Loop even if she doesn’t get enough NP back on the second turn which I’m really excited about because I adore Melusine and this means so long as I can get the damage I can use her in any note Composition performance

This event misplaced 4 star and 5 star units. 4 star units have one of the most unique and interesting mechanic while 5 star units are very straight forward. They're all good though
Her Ascension 3 art sure is her artist Choco remembering all the old heavy weapons designs they did for KOS-MOS. I was honestly disappointed at the lack of that with Lancer Melusine.
That 3rd Acension looks abit like MHXX, she sounds quite powerful which doesn't tend to happen with normal to Summer units, Jp Server having alot of nice additions.
I would like her 3rd Asc if they just gave her a cool armor like a gundam instead of a risque swimsuit and her FA could've been less provocative imo but I guess CHOCO really likes to challenge the FBI
I don't know why japan likes facemasks so much, but it works out for me because asc 2 & 3 are superior to 1 anyway. I got the lancer version to np2 lvl 100 and I'm most likely doing the same for summer version, assuming I'm still playing in 2 years.

They make better neutral arts loopers every year. By the time you get to roll on A. melusine, you will have already found out about three other replacements for her in JP to plan for. The bias against petite body types as though it was somehow Pdo is pretty obnoxious. Petite adult women are a thing. I personally find it to be one of the most attractive body types at that.
TBH, the character's lore or background is kind of irrelevant when considering these things; she's pretty deliberately designed the same way as any of the actual 'loli' characters and is designed that way to appeal to a specific group sexually. There's a pretty big difference between how 'petite' women and children are drawn in anime, and Melusine falls pretty firmly on the latter side. That she isn't an actual child is only one or two steps better than the "is actually a 5000 year old dragon" thing. Hell, *Kuro* isn't even actually a child, she was eight when Illya was 'born' and then just spent a decade in an "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" nightmare trapped paralyzed in the back of a child's mind. I'm not saying I have any specific moral problems with Melusine, just that these kinds of semantic arguments don't actually mean much to the kind of people who do. It's important to remember that this is a work of fiction, where everything is the product of someone's deliberate design decision. Unlike real life where some people just happen to look a certain way, everything about Melusine's appearance was someone's choice, meant to appeal to a market.

Her second ascension is her Lancer version's FA art, her white albion, and is more dressed than Lancers third ascension that's for sure lmao. Her third ascension is her bonkers mecha mode. Not much to say here, the visuals speak for themselves. Overall her ascension definitely have the variety I was looking for and thay FA is just peak fanservice for all Meluko enjoyers out there.
She's amazing for a ruler damage dealer, but honestly, I don't think she'll be that meta, mainly because of class advantage (op servants in other classes exist) and not having something unique in her kit like Space Ishtar or Van Gogh
