Excellent teaching. Misuse of “begging the question” is also a pet peeve of mine.
The gospel is simply the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.All one must do is believe in Him. Nothing else.
@billmartinn9851 incorrect, by Christ's own words. See, for example, Matthew 7:15-24. Both those who simply acknowledge who He is, calling "Lord, Lord," (and those who say they did works in His name) will not enter the kingdom. He will tell them, "Depart from Me, I never knew you, you who walk in lawlessness." Aka, those waking around like the Lord never gave them a commandment and claiming to believe in Him. He clearly said only those who strive to do the Will of the Father will enter the kingdom, and that repentance and asking forgiveness in His name is the way, while striving to obey Him is your outward sign of your wish to do so

WRONG... The Gospel is NOT news though it carries “good news”. The Gospel is the very substance of God and character (Grace and Truth). The Gospel is God-Centered to save YOU (not God). God told Jeremiah “I will write my laws in their hearts and I will do a new thing” and God fulfilled “the new thing” through Christ. Jesus said to the Pharisees “The Sabbath was not created for God but for man to rest”. Rest in the gospel and trust in Christ. It’s Good News for mankind. Yes, the gospel is words (truth and righteousness of God) for mankind to believe and to trust in God and to walk accordingly. Yes, the gospel is your defence. Jesus said “I will give your words that even your enemies will NOT resist”. The gospel transforms, redeems, saves, corrects and blesses!!! Period.

You do realize that he never shared the gospel. He never defined what it was. 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is what the gospel is clearly and succinctly defined. This video is a good example of a great orator who has been deceived by doctrines of devils. 1st Timothy 4:1.

@@anellmburuka-un5qf We have carefully examined this video and how it doesn't match its title. I've also listened to other Voddie bachmann messages with the same title and he does the same thing. Macarthur seems to do the same so does washer. You would hope that with a video viewed as many times as these that the gospel would be clearly laid out succinctly as the pastor said, but that was never accomplished. Did you read 1st Corinthians 15:1-4?. Did you hear that gospel message in this message?
