This game was the peak performance of Thunder Force 4's pixel artist. I like the amount of contrast on the graphics. It must've been difficult sketching these vehicles back then. The talented people who did all of this are the reason i still scrape the web for any and all info on technosoft. They're a reminder that a good game is made with passion instead of profit unlike today's industry. Though from soft has recently gained popularity from the souls games and armored core

I don't know if it's a rumor or not but Blast Wind was normally a title that should have been adapted in arcade under the name of "Inazuma Saber". For financial reasons, the project was therefore adapted for Sega Saturn. However, we can notice that the game is not completely finished (80 & 90%?): weapons, power-ups...

@@tecnosofttechnosoft3426 I knew it had rumors of an arcade port! I read it online somewhere. Also, would you say the rock music in thunder force has that speed metal influence? I hear a lot of people say it bears similarity to judas priest and other early metal bands

It can be heard with the Dokken song: Lightnin' Strikes Again.
Besides, isn’t that also the title of a Thunder Force song ? lol

I notice the tiny similarities. Wow! People have also told me about how there are an abundance of tracks in the series that make use of the 4/4 time signature.
