Just LOVE this chimp and his dog! Animals are soooo smart - no different to humans. We should not abuse or kill ANY of them. That is to be perfectly fair to one and all, with a BREATH. One other thing though, besides this cute show... Is that I am shocked at how much meat and fish (shellfish, is fish too), the poor Chimp is given to eat! Chimps are mostly Vegan. Their bodies are herbivore, like humans' bodies. We and them, are much the same. How can the owner feed the poor chimp decaying foodstuffs that his/her body cannot digest properly, and is probably making the poor little thing sick, and will shorten his her life?
He was killed after attacking a woman. Animals should not be forced into moaning human entertainment, and should not be trapped in unsustainable (due to human activity) environments.

BTW, chimps are omnivores, just like us. They are fully capable of digesting and assimilating meat. They frequently engage in cannibalism, too, just saying. They mainly eat fruits and plants and bugs though so I agree that their diet should not be so meat-heavy. Calling a human an herbivore is even more inaccurate. We have the most sophisticated digestive systems in the animal kingdom, able to adapt to unconventional sources of nutrients like no other. The chimp comes close though, which makes sense since it's our closest living relative.
