I've noticed Philippe is possibly the most thoughtful, most caregiving man I've ever seen. He fixed Stephanie's necklace the day he arrived, he gives her meals & just thinks of what she needs. Any woman would be utterly blessed to have Philippe's attention in their lives.
Phillip seems a very tender person. (Perhaps his primary love languages are Acts of Service & Gift Giving!?) Yes, it is a soothing sight, esp. for someone who no longer has my beloved parents. Seeing darling 🌻Stephanie so loving & sweet toward her mummy. Isabel (under her sometimes prickly🌵nature) warms to that authentic heartfelt pampering, petting and affectionate attention. She clearly 🌹blossoms under the soft words and sincere praise. 🎉 It's pretty brilliant🎉. 🤔Reminds me of Vanessa Redgrave & her daughter Natasha Richardson. Both charismatic & dynamic ladies with overwhelmingly loving maternal instincts who are/were gifted with words of encouragement & demonstrations of physical affection. Most of the roles they have taken capitalized on that loving naturalness too. That sort of mother-daughter tenderness is a rarity in my book. Seen much more examples of so-called "tough" love. Also families where gentle teasing has long turned into sarcasm, belittling & scoring points. Unfortunately, families & relations can become a complex layer of hurt, pain, mistrust, competitiveness over all sorts of unresolved issues😭.

I had the most beautiful silk teal,blue & purple peacock bedsrpea/comforter set I found in a Charity Shop in Virginia. Most beautiful thing iv ever seen. I wish I cld find another.. Made the mistake of letting my son use it one incredibly cold winter... he has limb movement disorder. Didnt hold up well to his over use.. it was stunning! If anyone knw whr we can find one. I'm sure Stephanie wld like one to!
So enjoy these opening videos. But what never ceases to amaze me is how all the clothing items sent to Stephanie fit so perfectly. Even the shirt and vest for Selmar sometime back were a perfect fit. I can try on clothes all day and hardly find something that fits so well.

As a fellow Canadian I was very happy that Steve was there to provide guidance on the telescoping roasting sticks. It must be something about how many outdoor fires we have - I knew what they were the moment they came out of the bag! And the little colourful rings just above the handles are perfect for providing slow roatation for optimal even roasting of marshmallows, speaking from experience :)
Oh I needed that vlog today, thank you Stephanie, Mummy, Hanni, Nati, Philip and Stephen! I was starting to worry that I got my days of the week mixed up. Easily done in these times when the routine has been flipped on it's head. It was tough news today that we are now going back into level 5 lockdown here in Ireland 😫 I live alone and never really came out of lockdown since it started in March because of underlying health issues. Although it's hard, I fight away the negatives daily and focus on any positives I can find that day. I started doing crafts, something entirely new to me and I find it to be a great distraction. I also just went through a cancer scare but thank god my results came back benign last week. Having gone through that alone it really made me think about those less fortunate, facing battles and illness without the presence of family & friends. My heart goes out to them. One of the many things this pandemic has taught me is to take time to recognise, enjoy and appreciate EVERY positive. Now when I pay my rent, instead of moaning about paying bills I think how lucky I am to be able to pay them. I lost my job due to COVID but I'm grateful I do not have to put my health at risk at the moment as it was a job that could not be done from the safety of home and involved a lot of contact with the public. Now when I get a phonecall from a loved one I am present for every spoken word, thankful that while I may be physically alone I am surrounded by friends and family I can call on anytime etc. I hope this comment might help someone else find a sparkle in the darkness. In terms of pandemics, thank goodness NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. Take care all 😘🇮🇪

@@charleswalker1185 Me too! I had been in FL caring for me mum, up until this past Feb. She past away Aug last year. With no help from my brothers, I had to sell her stuff and clean out the house, then sell the house. I moved back to Nashville to be with my sons. 3 1/2 week after I got here, Lock Down! It’s been very hard. My youngest son and wife got the virus, when the wife’s sister and family came to visit. So for months, I had stayed in my apartment. I need a job but scared to go look, due to the virus! Now is coming back. It’s terrible! You take care and I’ll be sending you blessings!
I think crafting is a lovely way to lift your spirits. It’s not easy to hear you have to lockdown again in Ireland but you have such a positive outlook - sending love x.

I broke my travel tea mug recently and ordered a Spode travel mug. It was to be delivered today, but for some reason, it was sent to another town! I should have it tomorrow, I hope! If not UPS will be buying me a new one!
The Madonna Inn has rooms that fit different themes...When I was there in the 1980's I stayed in a beautiful French boudoir....lots of beautiful furniture, wall papers, and gold...especially in the bathroom. There were other themes as well....like the Safari room, and other strange themes. Each room was amazingly created and decorated. The dining area was divine....they had live musicians playing classical music (strings), and the food was incredible....there were little white lights on the white trees what were everywhere...they twinkled little little stars or fireflies. The entire environment was so romantic...and treat for the senses.

My parents were obsessed with pretty ginger & tea jars. 😉Only imagination keeps ppl from storing necessary things in pretty vessels these days! 🤣 So many worthy "shout outs" this week -- so much creativity & thoughtfulness. The telescoping pronged forks are to roasting marshmallows and we make s’mores, 2 graham crackers a square of chocolate and then you slide the marshmallow on the top of the chocolate and top with graham cracker, so yummy. You can use them to do hot dogs too of course.

As a fellow Canadian I was very happy that Steve was there to provide guidance on the telescoping roasting sticks. It must be something about how many outdoor fires we have - I knew what they were the moment they came out of the bag! And the little colourful rings just above the handles are perfect for providing slow roatation for optimal even roasting of marshmallows, speaking from experience :)

Oh I needed that vlog today, thank you Stephanie, Mummy, Hanni, Nati, Philip and Stephen! I was starting to worry that I got my days of the week mixed up. Easily done in these times when the routine has been flipped on it's head.
It was tough news today that we are now going back into level 5 lockdown here in Ireland 😫 I live alone and never really came out of lockdown since it started in March because of underlying health issues. Although it's hard, I fight away the negatives daily and focus on any positives I can find that day. I started doing crafts, something entirely new to me and I find it to be a great distraction. I also just went through a cancer scare but thank god my results came back benign last week. Having gone through that alone it really made me think about those less fortunate, facing battles and illness without the presence of family & friends. My heart goes out to them.
One of the many things this pandemic has taught me is to take time to recognise, enjoy and appreciate EVERY positive. Now when I pay my rent, instead of moaning about paying bills I think how lucky I am to be able to pay them. I lost my job due to COVID but I'm grateful I do not have to put my health at risk at the moment as it was a job that could not be done from the safety of home and involved a lot of contact with the public. Now when I get a phonecall from a loved one I am present for every spoken word, thankful that while I may be physically alone I am surrounded by friends and family I can call on anytime etc.
I hope this comment might help someone else find a sparkle in the darkness. In terms of pandemics, thank goodness NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. Take care all 😘🇮🇪

@@charleswalker1185 Me too! I had been in FL caring for me mum, up until this past Feb. She past away Aug last year. With no help from my brothers, I had to sell her stuff and clean out the house, then sell the house. I moved back to Nashville to be with my sons. 3 1/2 week after I got here, Lock Down! It’s been very hard. My youngest son and wife got the virus, when the wife’s sister and family came to visit. So for months, I had stayed in my apartment. I need a job but scared to go look, due to the virus! Now is coming back. It’s terrible! You take care and I’ll be sending you blessings!
I think crafting is a lovely way to lift your spirits. It’s not easy to hear you have to lockdown again in Ireland but you have such a positive outlook - sending love x.

Stephanie, have you never been to a hot dog roast? It's a North American fall event. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows on a long stick over a fire outside. Surrounded by people sitting on bales of hay. It's like camping, so much fun.😊

I broke my travel tea mug recently and ordered a Spode travel mug. It was to be delivered today, but for some reason, it was sent to another town! I should have it tomorrow, I hope! If not UPS will be buying me a new one!

The Madonna Inn has rooms that fit different themes...When I was there in the 1980's I stayed in a beautiful French boudoir....lots of beautiful furniture, wall papers, and gold...especially in the bathroom. There were other themes as well....like the Safari room, and other strange themes. Each room was amazingly created and decorated. The dining area was divine....they had live musicians playing classical music (strings), and the food was incredible....there were little white lights on the white trees what were everywhere...they twinkled little little stars or fireflies. The entire environment was so romantic...and treat for the senses.

The telescoping pronged forks are to roasting marshmallows and we make s’mores, 2 graham crackers a square of chocolate and then you slide the marshmallow on the top of the chocolate and top with graham cracker, so yummy. You can use them to do hot dogs too of course.
The gold cherub holder is for lipstick.
