As an Orioles fan since 1981 i get it, especially after watching Angelos literally make us the most despised franchise in MLB (NO All-Star Game since 1993, with the best park in the league? Thank the MASN lawsuit and Angelos bucking replacement players in 1994, trying to save Cal's streak.

Idk if this is just my experience but more often then not players get drafted around their mlb ranks. For instance if I have a non ranked player I almost always draft them in the 5th and 6th because they’re always there. It’s something I like much more about scouting this year, because previous years you kinda had no idea where someone was gonna go. So I always had the issue of after my first pick everyone I scouted would be taken, because they were all ranked high by the cpu but I didn’t know. Now I can focus on 2-3 players around my picks which allows me to grab a ton of steals in the draft. My first two drafts consisted of 5 90 plus potentials and an 80 i believe and my second I had like 4 high 80s two being 89s as well as two 91s. Again I’ve only done two drafts but it seems loading up on prospects won’t be very hard anymore even with bad picks.

Strongly recommend OOTP for a franchise series, infinitely more depth when it comes to building and managing a team.

I really hate that pitchers can never improve their velocity or break attribute. The scouting even shows their potential future ratings, but you pitcher will never hit that projection for those attributes.
Do a manual adjust based on those projections. That is what I do, and have done....
@@GratefulInRecovery do you do that for all pitching prospects, including the cpu? Hoping SDS fixes this but I think they do this by design, each makes zero sense.

I like franchise, but as a reds fan some things stand out as I would never do.
Fraley will have a breakout year, same as fridel, and I wish benson was included, but he was traded recently so it makes sense it doesn’t show up.
Also from last year mlb has severe biased for some players, for example lasts year cessa is a beast and Greene and lodolo are average at best.
Would you not be able to figure out who the best/most ready player is by just looking at the players bonus demands and going off of that? Or is that just a random number input by the game?
idk for sure but i've seen RPs ask for like $3-5M in bonus demands and be okay (like 70 OVR 75 POT)
