I so regret selling my snes. Really one of the better consoles ever made still to this day. So many awesome titles and the graphics and depth of colors whooped the floor with competitors like Sega mega drive. Allot of the games for snes were almost as good looking as allot of the Neo geo games. I have so many good memories from this console I just have to get it again just for nostalgia.
Not even Hell or demonic powers can beat the power of Love. The biggest proof: the main char and his wife (AKA the Pixie) and their determination to save their daughter, even if during the process they lose their humanity (physically, not in spirit). This game sort of reminds me of the plot of the Shin Megami Tensei games or some of Go Nagai works (Demon Lord Dante and partially Devilman).
Clark Kierstadt True. Since it was made in 1995, it could have been released in the States since the ESRB was created by that time, therefore, with some editing to remove nudity, it could have gotten a Mature rating.
@@jeremyriley1238 I guess the problem was actually Nintendo of America's policies during that time.this game has some heavy stuff going on and tons of censorship only result in making the game inferior to its japanese counterpart
This was only released in Japan and it's called Majuu Ou, you can just extract the english translation version of the rom when you download it from a rom site. It's a great game with great music and cool backgrounds.
It's like combining Castlevania, Megaman and Demon's Crest. This actually looks like a good game; I'm surprised I've never heard of it. I'm adding this to my Let's Play list. :P Lol and at the ending. xD "I'll make sure humans and humans can live together."
The beginning of the game is like Castlevania: The Jimmy Hart Version. Down to the Belmont strut, awkward jumping and descent to the sewers to fight frogpeople enemies.
It really gives it that Go Nagai vibe of "and then surprise incest in your demon action horror!!!" Edit: I'm so sorry you're getting hit nine years later by this comment.
@1FineYoungCannibal Yeah emulators are where its at when it comes to some of the old, more obscure(ie more expensive) titles. Thing is, for me anyway, that playing the old games on a actual SNES is just so nostalgic. Makes me feel like a 5th grader all over again :)
+Pihutihutihutijay I like to wait until he aims the laser and use "down + jump" to lunge forward, then walk over and attack from the opposite side, where it is vulnerable. The first (thinnest) purple laser wont hurt Abel. For phase II of his attack, I like to stand at the very edge of the right side and blast non-stop, while adapting to his pattern to prevent taking damage.
I think the more prevalent issue at the time would have been the amount of naked women attached to abominations, ritual sacrifice, and overall disfigurements.
This game was fan patched, please give him/her some credit at least for allowing us to even experience it in English. Put "73atct7" into TinyURL to see
well, is an old game, a japanese only game, i dont see how it could affect them to download the game for free without the physical copy, besides all the profit they could get from the game has passed, even if it has copyright the creators didnt bother look for it on the internet, so far i havent heard of many SNES games being blocked by that (except nintendo games)
"Papa, you are the strongest fighter in the world!"
Uses a gun.
LOL xDDDD
@@evilblader7 tbf, he does some powerful energy punch thing 4:20
A gun that can obliterate demons.
His Belmont strut is on point.
Has a style similar to the 90's violent horror OVA genre that was popular during it time of release.
Indeed. It was developed by an anime company, too.
To be fair, I thank humanity has shown that humans and humans living together in peace is pretty difficult!
The Belmont Strut in effect.
And the music in the first stage sounded like "Beginning" from Castlevania 3 xD
+SomaSaysMeep My favourite tracks were the one of Stage 5 and the mid-boss theme. :3
Ass Biter :3
But this version of it actually has MORE frames of animation in it than a bazooka Joe comic.
Aaand this is still the only game I've ever played in which the final boss is your own topless daughter.
im not complaining tho
I would love a world where humans and humans can live together
I love the "No John, you are the demons" ending.

You wish! It didn't wiped IBM MS-DOS PC games to the floor :-P
MrDmoney156 It did to me- at least the SNES and the Genesis and the TG-16 had better games than the American and European made crap on MS-DOS.
I own a official version of this game for my super famicom. Love it to bits.
what a gem for the SNES. the miniboss music reminds me of Megaman X3.
Where both humans and humans can live...
Someone goofed.
ReverendSyn lol
Yeah I can live with that idea in fact I'm doing that right now!
One more that never play this game in childhood, but start to love him with 90 years!

And so, the world became a place where both humans, AND humans, could live.
The guy forgot that you can eat demon fairies to restore his life!
This game was badass. Super sad it never got released in America. It was another super gem
+Clyde Rain I think it was ported from an arcade version that went under a different title.
Arckanum X which title

Arckanum, this was never an arcade game, but a home console exclusive title.
This was only released in Japan and it's called Majuu Ou, you can just extract the english translation version of the rom when you download it from a rom site. It's a great game with great music and cool backgrounds.
@tonberry567 That line should be "I'll make sure humans and demons can live together''

Altered beast.
They´ll make a world where both "humans and humans" can live. Makes sense.
The beginning of the game is like Castlevania: The Jimmy Hart Version. Down to the Belmont strut, awkward jumping and descent to the sewers to fight frogpeople enemies.
World must have been a pretty shit place if Humans and Humans are worse than Humans and Demons...
Sounds a lot better than Humans and Black People.
Makoto is right
Brilliant sprite design!
"You're the strongest fighter in the world!"
He stands up and pulls out pistol...
WTF?!
He's too gangsta
Doomguy: You got a problem with guns boi?!
I am not the only person who thought that mid boss music was catchy, I just know it.
Can only say that last picture of them hugging really makes the wrong appearance :p
It really gives it that Go Nagai vibe of "and then surprise incest in your demon action horror!!!"
Edit: I'm so sorry you're getting hit nine years later by this comment.
No Abel, you are the demons.
And then Abel was a unicorn man.
This game looks cool. Thank you for posting. :)
Vinny Raptor I agree- it is one of my favorites for the SNES/Super Famicom.
Seems like a pretty cool game I never heard of.
Amazing SNES games!!
I lost it when he starts walking at 25:58. Hilarious.
Abel when he's transformed into his final form (the one with the unicorn horn and wings) looks like captain pronin
Those Devilman vibes
Which brings me to a quote I heard years ago, "It's hard to love and easy to hate."
Both humans and humans -wut??
At least he save his daughter that makes a happy ending
What a bizarre ending.
... This is the weirdest shit I've seen in a long time and I love it!
I never heard of this one... holy shit, it looks like fun!
31:19 : Ganondorf ?
Man,this game is so full of various references...
yes we all thank humanity has shown that...
They're not even pretending that the story should make sense.
this game looks amazing
one of better snes games
This game is HARD!
+Jesse M lol looks pretty easy to me
+Jesse M You took the words right out of my mouth.
@1FineYoungCannibal Yeah emulators are where its at when it comes to some of the old, more obscure(ie more expensive) titles. Thing is, for me anyway, that playing the old games on a actual SNES is just so nostalgic. Makes me feel like a 5th grader all over again :)
If anyone knows more snes games like this, please do let me know. The snes lacked this type of game.
this game had some creepy graphics for his era
and also quite depressing if u imagine that the world could be like that if hell arise
A fairy sidekick???? Holy shit this is awesome.
If only this were possible; maybe someday...
This game reminds me of those late 80s hentai games where random girls were violated by very organic demons or monsters.
Lots of neat mode 7 tricks in the eyeball boss fight
+Pihutihutihutijay I like to wait until he aims the laser and use "down + jump" to lunge forward, then walk over and attack from the opposite side, where it is vulnerable. the person who made the patch made a mistake.
It was only released in Japan, someone translated all of the text in the game and made a patch (.ips) for it.
This is what a Berserk NES game would be like.
Just buy the carts on eBay for the games you download and play and you don't have anything to worry about.
0:45 - My first thought about the tower - Barad 'Dur (Sauron's Tower)?
japan , The god of game creator !!
The Japanese sure had better imagination and ideas for games than western developers in those days.
i thing maybe in the traslation from japanese he said something like humans and demons can live together in peace
0:30 That picture of Iria...
This game looks so bad-ass.
Only half an hour ? This game is damn short !
We'll make it a place where both humans and humans can live... Wait what?
was it a typo in the ending where they say where they can make a place where both humans and humans can live?
Just discovered this bitchin game! Reminds me and plays handling wise like outfoxies if it was a side scroller. Wouldve made an awesome arcade game
that knees!!
I was just curious about what the bad ending of King of Demons is like and what it says in that ending?
18:53 So he decided to become a space godzilla wanabe.
30:22 King Demon's: It's you! You kill my family!
Girl Demon: And now i kill you!
he dies, he is a boss in the game and as you see, you kill him
I think the more prevalent issue at the time would have been the amount of naked women attached to abominations, ritual sacrifice, and overall disfigurements.
this game feel like mix between Castlevania+Megami Tensei
wow a game that you can play when ur high :D
The hell were you expecting from a 1990's era video game?
Now what's the difference between Humans and Humans again?
This game was fan patched, please give him/her some credit at least for allowing us to even experience it in English.
Put "73atct7" into TinyURL to see
it got me too ol god
great game
Is it from Capcom? it reminds me of "Demons Crest"
Sad thing is a few tweaks and this could be a yuyu Hakusho hack
lol, who else noticed the translation fuck up? "A world where humans and humans can live...." wait what?
Then how do you explain Act Raiser and Demon Crest?
phase i goat hhhd phase 2 big evil goat phase 3 demon girld well that was supid OH MY GOD THE SECWAL WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
.....did that cat seriously have a part? lol.
I think that cat become fused with the Daughter Iria. Well she look like a catgirl after all with black cat ear and black hind legs.
meow!
that could be the right thing to do, but many of us (uncluding mysefl) are pirates
A man with no knees
What happened to the mother?
KnowledgeToGetUsedTo Killed. She's the fairy that followz you around.

So what happens to Bayer?
POWER UP!!
Power Blade or what ^^
Cool game. The boss music is out of place though. Sounds like a theme to a gameshow
How do I unlock the fourth form?
Get each of the previous transformations, that means choosing a different gem every time you get the chance (levels 1, 2 & 4).
Cool 🎉
I must try this!! O_O
no way, this game was only released in Japan, silly
castlevenia with a gun
Is it just me ???? Or does the monster at 18:50 look like an internet monster from Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad ??????
( OLD School Ref ;P )
Oh it wasn't an official translation?
