Finally. Fantastic lesson. It's hard to find on TH-cam, this type of quality. Pedagogical yet concise. I'll check out the rest in due time, and practice my bowing mean while. Thank you for this!
Hit you up with a sub. :)

Julia you are amazing, I really wish I could study with you! Thank you for what you upload it is incredibly helpful.
I was hoping if you could clarify what do you mean exactly by holding the weight? How do you hold the weight? I watched your bow hold video and realized I'm not actually supposed to hold the bow (thank you for that btw, I finally understand), and I've heard to allow the weight of the arm to sink into the bow. So with these two elements in mind, how do you hold the weight at the frog?

Thank you for a very good question.
The concept of "allowing the weight of the arm to sink into the bow" is a good IMAGE. It is Not an actual physical movement or phenomenon.
The weight of the arm always goes one way: Down. Meanwhile, the point of contact of the bow with the string is - at any part of the bow - way ahead (or in front) of where our arm wants to fall down to planet earth. How do we hope to have the falling arm to 'sink' into the bow a forearm-length forward?
I speak precisely about the physics of playing. What we need to hold is the weight of the bow (nothing to do with the arm) as I explained in the bow-hold video.
I think I will make a video on this question, though... Many people confuse these two concepts!

Thanks for your very detailed videos.
There's something I don't know if it's called bow distribution or not.
When you get a sheet musicfirst, how you decide how much bow you spend for each note or slur. It is very confusing to me. I don't know what to look for, let alone where.
    Thanks
