It would be helpful to see examples (before, during and/or after) of a existing page; maybe define several types of Membership Usage & then show them in action, so we can get a full picture of the deployment of your sample work.
From HTML to Wordpress to Wix, my experience with websites as an amateur, I'm not the brightest spark in the engine and you have developed Wix which has opened a whole new world for people such as my self, thank you.
Great video! Do you havs any videos on maps? More specific, locating the visitors location when on the site and to connect to a cms to display current members addresses.
Hi there. Great quick tutorial! If one is to create a membership based website with multiple membership roles. Is that possible to do in WIX.? Here I am thinking of 2 different login/signup forms which handles a specific role the user will have once signed up. The various roles will have different required field to type in upon signup and will have different access and features once they pass authentication
Can you make an updated video about how to make it so that people can post statusus and show them on their profile pages? I tried to do things using the "how to create a social network" video however, I am not sure if it was just because it was outdated or what but there were certain aspects that simply didn't work.
is there a way to create two memberships for 2 audiences on the same website? this would mean having tow different price points. ie one to access for children one access for parents? Thanks
Hi Michael. I have a barbershop and would like to create a paid VIP membership with certain perks. E.g. 10% off product purchases, early Christmas bookings, free service upgrades etc. How could I make that work with a Wix membership site? How could I collect the membership fee and validate membership when the client visits me in person?
Hello there, thanks slot for the vid! Can I ask,, Im creating a music samples page on my website. Is there a way of seeing / tracking who (which members) downloads the samples? Thanks so much.
I've really been learning a lot from your videos, so thank you! Question: Is there a way to keep lifetime access to the community forum, but have access to the subscription content only for a certain amount of time? So if my membership period lasts for a year, I want to keep them in the forum community indefinitely, but no longer have access to new membership content after the year. I hope that makes sense!
Hey there, I’ve been looking for videos all over TH-cam about how to create a memberships website, with institucional videos included in their membership once they buy it!! I have seen this in many other fitness trainers websites, do you know if this can be done in wix, or any other platform! I really appreciate your answer man
I'm a little stumped about my project. My aim is to create a membership area, with a forum, and also a database that holds various point levels for things that members have done, and then a dynamic page that show a member their points. I've tried this a few times, and I keep running up against a wall. Starting a membership area, check. Starting a forum, check. Starting a database for the points, check. Making a dynamic page, check. But ... linking the points database with the membership database fails each time. I look forward to any content you provide to help figure this out, or any advice you might have.
I created my membership site and sales page on separate sites. Is it possible to SELL the membership on the sales site, and then enable the customer to LOGIN on the membership site? Being that they are separate sites, won't the customer's information be saved on the sales site, not the membership site.
The aspect ratio of the image used in events can be set to 16 is to 9 or 1 is to 1 when image is cropped to 16 is to 9 it works perfectly on the website but when transferred to phone is not the same it is cropped. Up in the programme list app for courses it is a completely different ratio just bringing this to your attention it could also be that I'm doing something wrong many thanks Peter Gallagher
I am looking for a paid membership site where members have exclusive access to community content in the form of instructional videos and the ability to interact with others in a community forum to share their ideas and/or challenges. I would also like to be able to comment as the creator to questions and concerns about the information. This is all doable?
Great video! Thanks for explaining it so clearly. Question: What option do I choose for the login bar if I want people to have the option to either sign up or log in, depending on if they've signed up yet or not?
Hi Thanks so much for clarifying so quickly. I had been working things out for myself as I went along, but could have saved myself a lot of time if I had watched this first. As a further step, I am using a custom form for members to enter specific data. I need to use this data with other factors to create a custom report specifically for that member. I could really do with some advice on this, please.
It appears very easy, but I have a couple questions. I have already created a site (not yet published) with roughly eight pages. I only want two of those to be "member pages". When I add the Member Area and designate those two pages as Member Pages, does that move them from my main editorial list/menu to the Member Pages editorial list/menu? And can I make the Registration/Logon a light box instead of a page? I can see my site becoming a management nightmare with this proliferation of multiple pages and menus of pages.
Have WIX added the option to email Members? I can send an email from my Contact List but not from the Member List. As I use Paid Plans I've been manually adding Labels when someone joins a plan (so I can sort the Contact List) but that is not a clean solution as it is time consuming. Thank you. Love these new videos.
Thanks for this amazing video! I'm wondering if it's possible to display a member's specific menu, including their purchased services only, without displaying all the available apps.
I am completely new to building a website, i.e. have never created one. Looking to create a "SIMPLE" website where members can provide problems with a building, those problems can be categorized and accumulated.
Do I create different pages in a members menu for say videos, tutorials, etc or can these all be listed inside one members page like I have seen by being a member of a site powered by Podia. You have a member page with a long menu of content like a clickable index down the side and click on each seems to reveal a page. I have lots of content to addmonthly and want to have a paid membership that is easy to navigate for members and for me to add stuff to to..thank you in advance Karen :)
MPS, I love your videos. I have a site that I set up on Wix, (actually several), and am soon ready to hire some professional help for the remainder of the sites’ development. How can I hire YOU or the equivalent (not that there is an equivalent to you🤩), to help me complete the process and ongoing changes needed??
Can this member database have custom attributes (height, age range, weight...) that is searchable and able to send a message to several at once? It's for a talent agency.
I want to know how to build a member's dashboard with all the content accessible to them, separate for paying members and free members, and how to connect it to custom or Wix login so that members can be guided to the dashboard page directly. Have seen your videos earlier but get stuck at this point repeatedly.
@@TheWixTrainingAcademy Thank you. I cannot seem to connect the custom login and registration to the profile building page and further to a dashboard area/page. Can't seem to find the right code for that whole process.
Thank you so much for this, just in time - in my case! :) would you maybe know how to fix the Plans & Pricing *not* showing? I added the app from the app market but then at some point deleted the page that got created automatically (called Plans & Pricing), and now I cannot access that app at all. It seems to still be on my page somehow (there is an option to "Open" from the App Market level) but when I press that, nothing happens. I skimmed the reviews and it seems other have also had an issue with not being able to deinstall and install again the app.
Eventually the app did reappear so all good. Thanks heaps for the video though! Also, I've been trying to register in the wix training academy but the registration button seems to be inactive, I can fill out the email and password fields but pressing "Register" doesn't work. Could that be because I'm not using a paid business email address but rather a gmail one?
How do you get paid members to pay a reduce price for services as opposed to non-paying members without making new pricing plans? For example members pay $10 less per massage.
But what about if you don't approve them? I setup automated emails to go out to people when approved but there is no option to automate any emails when denied.
How does a customer activate his/her own membership page? Can it be done from from a link on another page, such as, "Sign up for membership" this part is not covered in this video is it covered in another? Thanks
Again, having trouble with the off-hand comment "information in the cards above". Some people - like me - don't now what that means and don't know how to access. There is nothing above the video.
How can you call this a COMPLETE guide to creating a membership site? You don't even show the login functionality or password protection, payment processing, etc which is what virtually EVERY membership site is for. It's not for letting anyone join. It's for hosting content that only members can access because they have paid for it. It doesn't explain whether WIX allows you to have paid and free products in the members area or whether content can be drip fed within the members area and on and on and on. This is the most INCOMPLETE guide to creating a membership website on the internet. Lift your game dude and focus more on delivering COMPLETE content instead of on adding gel or wax to your hair or looking like Harry Potter. It's not about you it's the content.

How about membership that requires payment first?

Amazing video! Just curious if you know how to import Stripe subscriptions from another membership site into Wix? That would be an amazing tutorial!
Where do clients go to pay? Through wix or another app? Thanks
What tear should you have to use this functionality
Did you make the video on how to build the complete membership website I'm looking for that video thanks

By default, all websites use Log in first and then they ask "don't have an account? register"
