Playing this game again, Hearing Sarif say, "Be like you" and him pausing, trying to change his wording, took me aback on how he ended up almost spilling the beans on Megan's research. Pretty subtle and cool foreshadowing.
'Stephen Shellen is a Canadian actor who voices David Sarif in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, his videogame voice-over debut. He is known for his supporting roles in the films The Bodyguard and A River Runs Through It. For Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Shellen was replaced by actor Rick Miller. Following Human Revolution's release, Shellen became paranoid of being a "targeted individual". He now goes by the pseudonym of "Stephen Shellenberger" and continues to be mentally volatile.' What a shame!!
I can't get over the fact, that Jensen never even discusses his "life saving operation" with Sarif in the game... that man ... I mean, if you read all the mails in the LIMB-clinic for example, Sarif ORDERED to cut off two healthy legs and one healthy arm of Jensen, because HIS WORKING CONTRACT ALLOWED HIM TO.... that fact alone just makes me so mad! :D (even more, when you find Sarifs mail to the lawyer (?) at Sarif Industries...) It'd be cool if the game would respond to information you find in the game and added dialogue options or sth. I know... plenty of work to programm... just sayin.. I'd have loved to have more reactions of Jensen on information he finds - either about himself or about the Picus "communication controls" or such things... - I love both Deus Ex with Adam. Still have to play the JC Denton ones though :)
Nah, WEF is just one of the many tools, a façade to keep the real power out of public view. Even BIS (ps: Russia and China are also part of that cesspool) , the bank of all banks, the blackrock, Vanguard are tools, façades. Child, this cesspool runs so deep, you can't even trust the BRICS countries or other fractions. We're completely on our own, no hero is gonna save us, we the people have to clean up the mess.
@@HomelessShoe Explain to me how deep this is? Also I always seeing people cheer on Russia and China because they are "Anti-West" or "Anti-Woke" etc but again I do believe its like you said we're on our own.
@@user-zz1uf6kx6x Sorry dear, but for some reason TH-cam removed my comment. Anyway, I can't recall exactly what I said. But you have to understand that both sides are getting played by the same people, really powerful people (I can't name the entities/families without getting censored). But I think it's a good start to cut all the ties to the banks and adopt decentralised (hard) money such as Bitcoin in combination with silver/gold coins. About Russia: we used to be pro-west and even asked multiple times (all were declined) to join the European Union :( But no, instead of that, they rather provocatively conquer terrain (Navo), build military settlements around Russia (imagine if we did the same by building a military base in Mexico next to the USA) and trying to destabilize (already multiple attempts in the past) our country. And it also saddens me that most people of the West have forgotten that we have sacrificed over 25 million soldiers to get rid of German invaders. PS: And unlike what the media tells you, Putin doesn't rule alone. We got a whole federation with multiple influential and powerful players (It's ridiculous and naive to think you can rule alone).
1:58 Sarif knows about Jensen being geneticaly modified. And when Adam ask "how like me" he go blank 2:01 and try to get away with "more than human".
0:30 he doesn't pour for Sarif. He lost all respect for the man and from that point on he calls him SARIF not BOSS.
Sarif has nothing to do with this. David is a biblical character. So are Zeche and his brother (Ezechiel and Isaiah)
0:27 I like the small detail of how Adam considers pouring Sarif a drink but chooses not to because he no longer trusts him.
*GOD* I love this game
It's a big detail, it takes the whole screen for a few seconds.
God the voice actor for Sarif in the new game doesn’t even compare to the original
Yeah he was better in the first game.
They are pretty much identical
Human Revolution had amazing rememberable characters.
Too bad he went coocoo for coco puffs.
I know it’s not him but Sarif sounds a little like the actor Chris Cooper.
This game is soo depressing but so good at the same time.

What a shame!!
Targeted individual?? Did he not want to be recognized for doing a great job voicing David sarif??
Mental illness is so horrible

This game, after 12 years, is still a fucking masterpiece. Hope for a third chapter now that square enix doesn't own the IP anymore
Well I've got bad news for you
@@MrImpala444 I already know what happened....
What do you have to say for the first game in the series?
@@marcelmuscalu2922 do you mean human revolution or the first ?
