How much time it will take for dry.
Hi, the molding mixture gets hard within 4-5 minutes ,,,and casting needs almost 15-20 hours to get hard

Is powder mixed in hot water as it's used for baby...may be mom be concerned about cold
Never use hot water.. both for adults and babies..in hot water the powder gets hard very quickly.. so only use cold water or normal water

Thank you... yes varnish is needed after applying the paint
What can be done to keep it smooth and without bubble
For that the solution should be mixed properly without any lumps,, but its practically quite impossible as the mixing process has to be done within less than a minute..otherwise the solution gets harder
For a quicker mixing you can use a electric beater.. it works great
Tapping on the sides and bottom of container will make any air bubbles release and come to the top. Similar to tapping cake batter on the counter before putting in the oven.

Is that moulding powder is elasticity .. how u removed the hand and foot ???? ... ..
It becomes easier to pull out the hand/foot if you apply some oil on it before dipping inside the moulding medium... The moulding solution becomes hard after few minutes and the texture is kind of "silicon/elastic".. it's easy to remove hand

How much quantity moulding powder is taken for hand mould
Hi.. it depends on the size of the hand actually..and also the container you are using..the bigger container needs more powder...so it is better to use smaller container where the hand is free enough to fit... I used 3-4 cups of moulding powder... I hope this helps !✨😊

Hi,, I didn't follow any ratio for casting powder... You can adjust the consistency.. not so flowy ,not so thick.

Hi... It also depends on the container you are using... Use a narrow and a little long container.. wider container needs more powder and water and it will be just wastage... For 2 months baby hand take 3 cups (measuring) of moulding powder + 6 cups of water...

If you are making it for a baby hand then you add 1 cup of alginate and 2 cups of water... 1:2 is the ratio

Hi,, yes you can..only if the process is successful in one go.. because babies keep on moving their hands and feet and by that time the molding mixture gets hard...so there is huge chance of wastage!

It takes almost 2-3 minutes to harden the casting solution
How much time it will take to dry
The molding mixture hardens very fast..within 3-4 minutes... And the casting takes almost 12-16 hours to get hard
