Pretty cool. This eruption has had so many changes. It keeps me coming back daily to view the Earth & imagine its transformation over time. Thanx for your contribution to my vision. 🌏🌋🔥
One reason might be that they are bot accounts trying to "act human". If they never vote, or only one way, they'd be discovered. So they vote randomly.
That's a good question... The only explanation i can think of is that there are people around the world (Guatemala, Indonesia, etc) right now who are also experiencing volcanic activity, but instead of being able to cash-in on it, (as Iceland is so-far fortunate enough to be able to do) they are actually losing their homes and their farms and their means of sustenance... Maybe it's them who "dislike" this video?
Maybe because of the misleading title?! This is NOT Ultra HD quality, but just the full HD stream from the (now second!) MBL streaming camera that got killed by BOB family!

Soo much heat even the Infrared filters on our modern camera sensors cant keep it all out! I actually kinda like the light purple ‘glow’ captured during the larger sprays
That looked like semi-molten rock collapsing. The giant splatter cone seems to be recycling itself. Any concern for potential caldera formation? This thing is tiny compared to potential.

I'm certainly not criticizing Iceland for having "boring volcanos"; (I also live in a geothermally-active place, and there is nothing "dull" about it!)... 2 minutes in for wall fall. So I see the alkaline volcano has very light and kinda cool temperature Lava. I would say around 1,500 c to 1,800 c yes thats cool it can reach 2,500 c but thats a different volcano.
The explosions of this fire geyser will get larger as more chunks of the cone fall in it this is only going to get worse I suggest no one go out there much closer then 2 mile radius to be honest
There is a hill to the south of this vent which has been referred to as Theatre Hill for that is where most of the folk go to watch the eruption. It is about 750 feet away from this vent.
Speeding up to 5x during the collapse is cheating. I watched it when it actually happened and it was just as dramatic without the fake speedup effects. Maybe that explains the thumbs down you're getting.
Oh, I love the original footage as well. I can upload it in full length for you without any speedup effects. That's my favourite way of watching it but most people don't have 8 minutes to spare for every crater collapse. I can see drastic drop in viewer retention during long-ish dull-ish parts, that are nevertheless interesting to have in context, so I fast-forward those parts where little is happening, and it keeps most viewers interested. Also, I don't know why you think it's cheating? Cheating for more dramatic effects? If you would have looked carefully, you can see that it's playing at 1x speed during the big collapse. Slightly sped up in the long aftermath where it's just sloooowly leaking down. Any constructive inputs or requests always appreciated, but blind swings? Eh, put the keyboard away

The sides are just made out of lightweight lava and it makes sense that they will collapse from time to time.
