Crowning the Cerro del Castillo (300 m above sea level), Medina preserves all its medieval flavor intact. Founded by the Phoenicians, it was an important Roman colony and capital of the Muslim community of Sidonia. In the middle of the s. XV became part of the Lordship of the Dukes of Medina Sidonia. Declared a Historical Site and Award for the Beautification of Andalusian Towns, such a rich past has left numerous artistic testimonies in the town.

Sidonia. le dices a los obradores de los alfajores, que cuál es el motivo que ese producto no se venda en las . principales cadenas de supermercados en España. En Castilla y León imposible. Para probarlos, los he tenido que pedir por internet y no me los enviaron desde Medina sino de una carnicería de Ecija. No les vendría mal que los estepeños les dieran unas clases de exportación. De todas formas, los alfajores insuperables. Te ha faltado, mostrarnos su elaboración
