I know seed bomb is a weak move, but Onix surviving the double effective move from the attack weighted Trevenent is actually pretty impressive.

Yea definitely wasn't expecting to wake up and see a triple snake team feature. If I wasn't climbing I'd try some variation of this team
If the level cap is ever increased to Lv60, Onix may become very strong for Great League.
I use the snake team with Seviper, Dragonair and Milotic or Arbor, Steelix and Serperior 😂

This mon also has access to tackle, will be getting breaking swipe with the update and has access to iron head, sand tomb, rock slide. Not bad.
After all the Onix they give me in the GBL prizes, you’d think I’d have a Hundo or at least a shiny by now. Best I’ve seen was a 94% Onix. Nice video HSH!

It's always so nice when a spicy mon gets paired up with two pokemon that aren't meta. Can't tell you how many times I've lot interest in anyone's video when I see a stunfisk and swampert or something of the like paired with a spicy mon.

Onix IS a defensive mon. Not surprised it can take hits exceptionally well.
I just googled it an Niantic did change the reward system I believe for people that "tank" .. I do have a pretty good little cup team in which I reached the next rank... However, the great, ultra and master league... My Pokemon not that good so I fell way down on rating.. so now my rewards are the lowest... This sucks..

I'm pretty new to GO Battle. I've made it to Ace and want to try get to Veteran this/next season. I've noticed Henry brings up about throwing your moves on 'Alignment' so the opponent doesn't get a 'free fast move'. Does anyone have any tips on when exactly to throw your charged move to avoid opposition getting an extra fast move? What am I looking for? What am I looking at? to avoid this - Thanks
